I don’t care if it takes 1-2 hour video. I love that you guys showcase everything. That’s your style and I love it.

Same and if I can’t watch it all at once, I break it into episodes myself based on my time needs.

I really enjoy all your videos from cheese curd quest to van life to all the travel….shorter videos or longer videos of today. You are human and you have the right to shift and flex how you do life and work just like anyone else so do what you want and the true fans will be right here! 😊

Oh and I’ve watched the Camino documentary at least 12 times and am itching to go to Portugal 🇵🇹 and spend time there even if I don’t do the Camino on my first trip there!

Me and my husband absolutely love your long form content. But more than that, your content gives me hope that i can travel across to the seemingly expensive cities with limited amount of money and can still enjoy. So thank you very much for that

We love all of your videos- but especially your longer ones. We really appreciate your fun and thoughtful content and can have a chuckle with you on the humorous side of travelling!Unfortunately I can’t travel as much as I used to due to health reasons and family commitments, but I love watching your videos as they aren’t superficial and contain lots of interesting details. Thank you so much for sharing. I will be watching your videos for a long time to come. Sending love from Australia❤❤

Love the content. Long/Short doesn’t matter. We will be watching! Thanks for all you do!

Lisa is exactly right. I typically split watching your long form videos into 3 or 4 viewings. I hope that doesn't affect your algorithm stats, but I am truly enjoying your content. Perhaps more consistent Thursday videos to tide us over between the longer video releases? Or a few short travel advice videos on planning or general tips and tricks in between the long ones? Nothing elaborate, just a talking to the camera thing. We like to know what you're working on and thinking about about too! Thank you for your efforts!

I love the longer format and am happy that you've found it offers the right balance for you. If you're not happy then what's the point, right? I've found I'm watching the "3 Days" episodes multiple times -- they're perfect if it's 10 pm at night and you want to watch something relaxing and fun for 1-2 hours while winding the day down with a beer.

Thankyou for taking the time effort and energy to make great videos, not right into the shorts, I am now working toward a goal and it's probably a few months on a budget in Thailand on my own. Cheers from Kaz in Australia x

It's very hard to find your own style. I'm very new to this and purposefully tried to not overthink think it. I sat down and edited a video and saw what happened 😂 I'm evolving each week a little, and as I hate filming myself I try to be more informative than personal but I'm getting used to it 😂😂 people really do underestimate how much hard work full time travel and video creation is. Love you two! Also totally agree with the cat theory.

You two are my favorite to watch on KZbin! You are real. Like when I watch your videos, it feels like hanging out with friends & that's awesome. I'll take the content you provide however you offer it & I'm glad you've figured out what is "your" style! Love that you're being you!

You certainly don’t owe the audience an explanation of your process. Just do what feels right for you. Are you possibly overthinking it? I watch your stuff because I feel you are both down to earth, humble, simple, appreciate the dry humour, and we occassionly get Josh’s philosophical musings on the meaning of life while eating a PB&J sandwich. Don’t change 😊

I think the quote you are looking for is, “if I would’ve had more time, I would have wrote a shorter letter.” The quote is associated with a lot of people. We love the content, keep it coming! We also know Lisa is secretly reading comments! Lol😂

After hearing you say on a previous video your least liked video was about the ice-cream rolls, I went and watched it. Then in December we went to Malaysia and I saw them being made in Langkawi (a place you said was special to you Josh). Anyway I saw the rolls being made and had to get one. If it wasn't for that video you don't like I may not have tried it- thanks. I do watch your 1-2 hour videos a bit at a time. Thanks again.

You guys do you! Who cares how long your videos are, they're all incredible and the most important thing is that you're able to do what you love in a way you find sustainable for how you want to work and live. I've spent a couple of months now going down the rabbit hole of every single one of your videos and they're all enjoyable because of your personalities and specific take on travel, not how long or not long they are. Every one tells a complete story, and it's clear sometimes that story is fifteen minutes, and sometimes it's an hour and a half. And now I'm laughing because I typed this before you got to the bit about telling stories. You guys are amazing, basically. Always excited for a new one of your docos. Also, yes. Never read youtube (or any online) comments. I realise the irony in my statement. Lisa, I hope you never read this 😂

I mean let’s not even talk about how those videos are getting hundreds of thousands of views even a million a few times. Clearly people like them but there’s always going to be some people who like different types of videos. It works for you both in terms of getting views but also your style and what makes you happy. Doesn’t get any better than that.

This is really tricky to say but the difference between you two and lot of the people who do travel channels is that they vibe off being clueless. For me as a veteran traveller, I don’t need to see somebody who is quite frankly not all that young anymore acting like they don’t know how to operate in the world. In the case of a lot of these channels, they just come off as being too lazy to look things up and vibing off discovery as though that’s interesting in itself. Not picking on any one channel, but maybe it was cute when they were 25 and didn’t quite know what they were doing. Sorry that’s a lot of negatives but what I really mean to say is that I think you provide for me information that I can’t otherwise get. I can look online and see a trend and either appreciate it or ignore it, but being able to look at technologies for travel and hear your honest review of them has already saved me money and a whole lot of time. On the other hand, I think your instructional videos for newbies are also really helpful because you don’t assume that everybody is like you. I’m a research academic and I travel as a part of my work, often for lengthy periods. And it’s incredibly helpful to have advice for the planning that, quite frankly is not something that I could just look up on Wikipedia or shaped by really problematic sponsorships. To be honest I think the reason that you have the self reflection is that you’re people who do self reflect and I’m not not sure it’s there in a lot of travel influencers who are stuck on the idea that everything they’ve just experienced nobody else ever has. It’s not even that that is particularly self-absorbed really, but I think you said it when you talked about what could’ve happened if following one of those trends had been super successful…on the one hand I kind of wish it was for you, just would it have meant you ended up doing this really great stuff. But we’ve seen the revelation from travel bloggers in their use of the word ‘content’ and if you’re always chasing content rather than building information based on that kind of reflection, it’s always gonna be problematic.

I like the more financial side of how most people can travel. Can you showcase more of the apps to use like Klook or others to teach people how to find events and such while traveling?

What is wrong with people? Complaining about free edutainment...sheesh...snap out of it. If you guys just toured the world and we came along and watched...I wouldn't be. I'm now travelling 250-300 days a year mainly because you showed me how to do it. You gave me that shove in the back that I needed. Retracing some of your videos has been fun. The only thing I can't do is my own KZbin channel...it's just too much work and for me takes the fun out travel. Deadlines suck. Continue doing what your gut tells you. Safe travels.
