One of the optional ays to get archeops in discard for lugia vstar is cryptomaniac + pokestop. Similar to Prof Burnette, lumineon V for cryto, stack 2 archeops on top deck and discard them

I'm a tusk denier, that card is only winning because its a new format and lists are unrefined plus it has a good charizard match up. Explorer is just such a terrible supporter and sada wont draw enough cards to last your the entire game. Your going to lose games because your bricking since your locked into playing weak supporters just to be able to mill that turn. Meanwhile snorlax has many of the same strengths as tusk, including that elusive charizard match up (and lax is even better vs zard!) all while it gets to play real supporters that give acutal consistency and even better disrupt the opponent with Eri! Theres no way that a deck with such weak drawpower could possibly be good in a format as fast as standard, like it has to be a fluke. Then again I also thought that there was no way mew could play path since path is supposed to beat mew, but then it ended up playing 4 path so sometimes standard just makes no sense and things that look bad on paper acutally work out.

I can't blame you disagreeing on tusk. I love mill, heavily so, but unless the ancient supporters seriously open up fast, it's not going to be enough before you even account for other decks adjusting to the format.

I do agree they need more ancient supporters However i believe you are overlooking hand clippers. one of the most common ways to beat mill is to play less cards and build up your hand to wait to place them back into the deck, hand clippers at the right time could take a 10+ card hand down to 5 and still mill at least 1, basically doing a mill 6+ turn. Plus it seems to run a smaller Pokemon count to try to mulligan as much as possible to get the opponent to open with a bigger hand to cut down to 5.

Curious as to why the ArcTinas have not adapted the Pokemon GO Bibarel for Great Tusk. Seems like a slam dunk tech. Assuming it is some combination of not worth it and Great Tusk not being at that critical mass to justify.

I do hope someone figures out how to keep our boi Miraidon alive and competitive. Flaffy on the bench was the desperate backup needed for bad rng. We need that hit double energy from gen dopamine with some backup consistency. Especially since it's our only viable electric deck right now 😢 Otheriwise im going to be forced to run 4 gen 4 energy sticker 🤯

Unless que can get a Psychic attacker that can go up to 330+ damage, Garde is done for the format. Drif, Tail are not enough to get You trhough, and the deck Lost both, consistency and power. As a fellow garde player, it sucks, but I'm gonma have to get something else to play in April lol

tail and drifloon do get to 330+ with tool hp buffs but it becomes vulnerable to vacuum

Get more damage than the actual HP of the mon, opp vacuums and your attacker gets KO, so you promote something else only to get KO as well and your whole prize trading is just off. I hope we can see some new Psychic support to get Garde back into the Game post rot.

People rarely play 3-4 vacuum so should be fine since it takes space,plus jp and world are different in terms of meta. I think garde should be fine since I've been playing garde post rotation and it performs well. If you're afraid of can't snipe with tail then snipe manaphy+jirachi with iron crown ex+future booster/cresselia(tho I think cresselia isn't needed anymore since you only play glass cannon now😂)

Mimikyu ex :) not as reliable as zacian, but can do the job. The vacuum argument is what scares me also however. I think with high counts of research & and an evo package garde can be quite fast post ro, however your zard match up looks pretty horrendous when they can easily tutor out vacuum + counter catcher for a 3 prize turn endgame.

​@@jrpgmaster336iron crown only does 50 to the manaphys and jirachis my friend. Future booster only buffs damage to the active. I have my doubts about this working out for gardevoir. I think garde has a shot post ro but it won't be as dominating as it once was.

If this is our new format I hate it 😫 only 2 new decks in top 8 and of all the cool cards a freakin mill deck is doing best? Durant was already super annoying on the online ladder...future box and Raging Bolt were the decks I was most interested in, so it sucks to see them doing poorly :/ hope things change a bit by the time we get the cards otherwise I might be dipping until the next set comes around
