Good explanation. But one correction, the cosmological constant wasn't put in place to restrict the expansion. awesome. I would like to add another question. He says explosion did not happen because space is void of air. We know for sound to travel air is needed. Its a fact. But for explosion to happen sound is not needed. Explosion happens in sun every moment. Solar flares happens due to small or big explosion happens within the sun. Sun is in space then how the explosion happens. His argument about absence of explosion due to absence of air is not acceptable. I think that is his argument not picked out from any scientists work. Before big bang .. there was multiverse ... Which contracted and again started expansion. At the first place what caused contraction? What we see now is the expansion phase. A contraction phase will come and will continue to contract and expand endlessly. This will look like a wave in graph. But we cannot place this on a coordinates of a graph because that will have to define space and time. All these are bound by gravity, EM, nuclear force, space and time. But we don't have proof of that currently. Some day we will understand. Wonderful explanation. Reminding me one thing. "If you cannot explain a theory in simple words, it means you have not understood the theory." That way this video will make people understand complex topics in a very simple way.
