First time to watch this, almost 12 years that I haven't go to church. Here's my story, I grew up in a children's home, homeschooled, every day we memorize Bible versus, knows all the stories in the Bible. I even became part of the musicians at church, I know the verse in Proverbs saying to train up your child while he is young so when he grows up he won't depart from it. And to not be equally yoked with unbelievers... I have this verses in my conscience, I know that God forgives if I confess he won't remember them no more, but I just couldn't bear to go back to church, I'm so ashamed of myself. I wish I have kept my innocence and now I can't undo it, I am struggling so much. Going back when I was in college I was tempted, I did run from it a few times, I was so in love. I know in my heart that giving in is not of God but it's of the flesh but I got tempted, got pregnant, give up going to church was very ashamed, didn't get to finish college, struggle to survive until I give birth to my now 12 year old daughter. I learned my lessons the hard way, I still pray to God but it's never the same my past keeps haunting me, I am an irritable person, I get angry at my child for no reason sometimes and then realize my mistake but I thirst for God and his word and I want to go back to music. I don't know anymore. Thank you for your message, trying to watch all your sermon while I'm on duty, been watching Max Lucado as well sometimes.
