Gen Z guy here. I'm actually kind of proud of some of my generation. The liberal cucks in my age range are just as bad if not worse than millenials, and the majority, but there are surprisingly alot of fiscally intelligent conservative minded gen z-ers like myself and my brother. I realized the school system was a liberal brainwashing machine in 12th grade without anyone telling me that it was. I think its normal for 18 yr olds to call themselves liberal/democrat because they don't know anything about the real world and have been brainwashed by the school system and media

Glad I got this one Professor from my University who was born in post WW II era, while he helped my thesis back in University day he also helped me and teach me about ethic, effort, respect, and discipline and shape my perspective about life. And about new generation here my 2 little sisters and a brother which gen-Z(after millenial) somehow very intelligent and more responsible than me when I was their age, ugly millenial world made many people realize how horrible millenial gen also my parents became more experienced and harsher in raising my siblings after all millenial mess

Parents are wiser because they are old enough to attain wisdom. No one is born with it. We are all foolish when young. Wisdom comes from accrued life experience, which takes time. If they WERE wise, they would listen to their elders and learn from their wisdom. That is called respect-something else young people are in short supply of.

And the parents of Millennials love to not take responsibility for how they raised them. I never understand the bitching about participation trophies. Who were the ones handing out the trophies? Who were the ones coddling and creating safe spaces? The part I don't get is every parent wants to shower their kid with love, protect them, and provide them with a better life than they have. However, if you do all of that you run the risk of having kids who are soft. You want kids who are tough and self reliant then you have to put them through hell.

Until you're ready to repent for your hands being dirty, you'll continue to cry like a baby over the millennials and anything else Dice programs you to cry over. As long as you live in denial, our country is doomed. Trump can't save it. Lay off the TV and start reading the Bible. Go to TV rehab if need be. Within 6 months, you may be able to start thinking for yourself, instead of parroting the people who are keeping you in mental bondage.

Yep, unwillingness to accept flaws within society and themselves is what sets millennials apart from other generations. Every generation will have problems and people were generally aware of those problems 30+ years ago. Now it is all about instant gratification and justification of their horrid behaviors. Also, he may only be showing the ones he deem as stupid, but go look at any video of a college/university in the US, and this is all you will see. Go visit one for that matter and find out how true this video really is right now for the majority of that age group.

DiligoBarba Really? You don't think the drug addled peace and love hippy generation has anything to do with it? You don't understand how societies evolve and change. Almost all concrete brain development is finished by the time you're 6. Parents have a ridiculous impact on those first 6 years.
@DiligoBarba
@DiligoBarba 7 жыл бұрын
kyle fazio No because this can only be half the problem the CHILD has to follow the culture and LISTEN to his peers to be truly fucked up. The very fact that you feel parents lose impact after just six years tells me that your peers have way more influence on kids than most parents. In fact when a parent actually maintains impact the entire 18 years you kids think the child is being abused because the child didn't fall into the many traps of his peers for his generation. FYI societies don't evolve (that doesn't exist) or change. We have basic common sense as humans and that can only be driven out of us with social engineering that is being pushed by the international bankers. They have been doing this hardcore to us for 500 years now. The changes that have happened over the last 120 years are NOT natural but planned in order to give the bankers the MOST money.
@calculator91
@calculator91 7 жыл бұрын
DiligoBarba Dude. All concrete brain development is done by 6, in terms of personality. Parents have almost exclusive control over the child ages 0-6. This is well researched and proven science. Of course peers play a role, but that's only after the child's formative development is complete. Wanna know the number 1 predictor for success in life? It's not being born into a wealthy family or being born with special skills. It's being born into a healthy 2-parent houshold. And guess what? Starting with the 60s generation, most children are raised in SINGLE PARENT households due to the welfare state. This is why millenials are fucked up.
@DiligoBarba
@DiligoBarba 7 жыл бұрын
kyle fazio Parents are supposed to have influence over the child for 18 years by law NOT 6 years silly. And science is just another subject that often get's it wrong. A child personality forming has NOTHING to with how they'll turn out neither dose good or bad parents or the number of parents. Parents don't factor into anything today because kids don't listen to their parents. FYI the 60s weren't that big of a deal there were plenty of single parents with good kids. And many two parent households that were healthy that had terrible kids. At the end of the day the child will spend the bulk of his life with the peers and THEY are going to be the ones to fuck the kid up NOT the parents. Peers offer premature sex rebellion,drugs, crime and other sorts of nonsense. Most parents are telling their child to stay away from all that and if kids AVOID what the peers offer them they will be fine. The 60s was just more social engineering by the bankers and despite what you hear most people didn't fall into the traps of this era.

Majority of the time when he asked the question like that, people of course answered back rudely. Why wouldn’t they defend themselves and their peers? But when he asked, much more calmly and sounding like he was open to a real debate, and simply asked, “what is wrong with your generation?” You’ll notice that people wouldn’t get offended so easily. *The scientific evidence clearly states that "spanking" which can be better described as assault is detrimental to the development of children* (look it up before talking about issues you have no idea about). By the way, what do you think about Donald Trump? He was neither "spanked", nor did he "spank" his children. Your claim is invalid. The only reason why people continually defend this attack on children without any evidence whatsoever is that they were ether "spanked" themselves or they have "spanked" their children as well. And accepting the evidence that "spanking" is harmful for children would mean that they have to accept the fact that what their parents did to them was immoral and they would have to deal with that somehow. And people generally like to avoid confrontations about the immorality of their loved ones.

not at all. Mark asked this question is a very offensive way and automatically made everyone defensive right from the get-go. I believe this guy was actually clever and there's a good chance he had a personality and was not the typical millennial but we'll never know cuz Mark messed this whole thing up by making him feel like he was being asked what's wrong with him. a better way to ask the question might have been something like: "Do you think that people of your generation are generally more messed up than people of the past generations?" or something like that anyway. the way he asked the question he might as well have said to people: "What's wrong with you?" or "Why are you an idiot?". See the problem with the format of these questions?

The girl at 3:40 nailed it. The problem with Millenials is not themselves, but in part because of their parents who gave them everything... without giving them anything valuable. As a generation Y, I can spot the problem of my own generations (the X's and Y's) who are basically raising the Millenials, and I confirm that parents don't love their children the way they should, and this enabled the situation of SJWs and all the crap we get nowadays. I mean, seriously, if my daughter becomes a SJW (or a feminist as we see them on KZbin) some day, I will totally feel like a failure as a father, and will do everything I can can to teach them more about common sense and critical thinking.

It seems that you are right (socialmarketing.org/archives/generations-xy-z-and-the-others/) but I never considered myself a Millenial since I find most of them dumb and entitled morons. Pretty much all of my friends don't fall into that category either, and most of the people that behave like "Millenials" (or SJWs) are on average 10+ years younger than me, so... A few years ago, we were talking about "king children" (i.e. parents who always say "yes" to their kids), and I presume that they are the ones SJWs today. In any case, d'oh! :/
@vaskylark
@vaskylark 7 жыл бұрын
I am a GEN X'er who had kids fairly young. My kids are college aged and two of my four kids turned into SJW's. They were NOT raised this way, in fact they were Christian Republicans when I sent them off to school. They came back Atheist Democrats and the epitome of "snowflakes". They changed Completely! They used to laugh at the sensitive snowflake types now they are them! Colleges are SERIOUSLY brainwashing students and turning them into this. So far as giving them too much? Probably, but that is because we were raised by the Silent Generation who grew up in the depression and we were NOT spoiled. Our parents were frugal as hell, so when we had kids we gave our kids the things we couldn't have as kids. We were spanked. We were given long leashes as a free range kids, and we know how much trouble we got into that our parents never knew haha So we shortened the leashes on our own kids and because we felt bad for doing that (in the age of child predators mind you) we overcompensated by giving them too much crap, too much technology, which consequently our generation, the Gen X'ers made!
@yanfoo
@yanfoo 7 жыл бұрын
vaskylark I'm sorry to hear that. Please note that, while there are cases like yours, where even after your very best to raise your children, they still turn their backs on common sense, my comment was general, addressed mainly to parents who actually treat their kids as kings and queens instead of acting like actual parents. As a Christian, you'll understand the verse, in the Bible, in Matthew 7:15; wolves are not only about preaching and false doctrine, but also about seduction in following Mammon (i.e. the World)'s philosophies. All of which do contain transgender theories, entitlement, the non-existence of God and our divine potential, the abandonment to our our physical desires, that it is ok to have addictions, and the segregation of family, etc. Technology is a tool that allow wolves to enter our own homes. And I do not say that technology is bad, far from it, but it is as dangerous as leaving your kids outside, unsupervised. I am a firm believer that good examples, and good teachings from parents last long in a child's heart. The child may make bad decisions, rebel and go their own ways, but as they mature, the good teachings a parent gives last forever. At some point, your children will realize their mistakes and have the choice to repent (i.e. change). My advice to you is to keep loving them; if they know that you do not agree with their philosophies, but still respect their choices, they will likely turn back to you when their views fall apart (because they will).

The worst is when they tout how every Millennial gets a trophy. Okay, then fuck you guys for giving us plastic trophies then? It's pathetic. A teenager, of any generation, will be more self-centered because that is exactly where they are at in their stage of development. If any of us were dumb enough to think those awards meant anything (I know I was laughing) then I'm sure a tanked economy humbled us like it did their parents.

I was born in 1990, and I remember some teachers talking to my parents at my 8th grade "graduation". They said it was unreal the difference they noticed between the kids before my class, my class, and the kids right behind us. They told my dad they were having to go to workshops to learn how to teach all over again because the methods they'd used for years were no longer working and their test scores were dropping across the board. Personally, I blame the education system. Yes, parents are a contributor, but we have got to stop only teaching kids how to pass the damned standardized test. I want us to go back to the system our parents had. They were taught to think, not to memorize.

I do not think they should have scrapped Gen X and Gen Y and mixed us in with Millennials. I'll be 30 in a few months and I have nothing in common with those born in the mid 90's or later, the 90's in general even. I was in High School when the Twin Towers were hit. I grew up being able to safely run around the neighborhood with my friends, we didn't own a computer till I was in middle school and it was Windows 3.1. I actually learned about The Revolutionary War, The Civil War, The 1st and 2nd World Wars, My Grandpa fought in WW2 and earned a Bronze Star, I learned about the Korean and Vietnam War. We could still talk about God in school and read the Bible without being afraid. We said The Pledge of Allegiance every morning! Now I don't know what the kids learn in History, the Math makes no sense, God has been removed making room for hate, computers that used to take a huge desk and thousands of cords is in the palm of every kids hand and alot of parents seem to give kids free reign of the house instead of being parents. All reasons why although considered a millennial I feel in no way connected to those in college right now. People my age had to suck it up in school and then work, I have no idea how these kids in college or thier early 20s will function or add anything positive to society. I'm sick of the crap the Left has pushed into schools for far too long!
