I'm a mechanic working on Ducati Monsters in the UK, and I wanted to share some tips with you. Fuel can go stale if left sitting, as the ethanol evaporates and leaves behind a sticky residue. Instead of using Seafoam, try Wynns injector cleaner or ask your local mechanic about a good professional brand. This will clean your injectors and the fuel system. If you're planning to leave your Ducati unused for a while, add Lucas fuel stabiliser to the tank. Ducati's don't have fuel systems as tightly sealed as some other brands. I can even smell the fuel evaporating from a Ducati being transported in my van! Regarding the oil on your exhaust, it's likely from the chain lubricant. Also, I noticed the starter solenoid cap cover is missing. It's not available separately, which is a shame, but keep an eye out for one. With the battery positive exposed, if the starter side touches the frame while cranking, it could cause issues. Anyway, greetings from the UK, and enjoy your Ducati!

Ey yo! Great video, fam. Not too shabby. My only recommendations would be... Fill the filter with oil to prevent wear during first dry startup after the oil change. It helps. Also, the K&N oil filter has a small nut welded to the bottom to make it easier to get on and off. Other than that, you killed it. Good job!

I appreciate it! Of course when I asked for a filter with the nut on the bottom I was told it's never recommended to use anything other than Ducati parts. $$$ They knew what they were doing

@frankie_dici of course they do! I would agree with that for quality reasons. In that case, a strap-wrench will help for next time. Still, great video!
