Amar protecting nashwa confirms their dynamic as cousins… that no matter how much they fight or hate each other, they consider each other as family…. ( they do have a bond as cousins) that’s why nashwa is not so uncomfortable around him too.. And also I think by initiating conversations, nashwa is trying to show amaar that she is not afraid of him and she will do the right thing when time comes…

I don't agree with Hassan because I believe Nashwa's character is that of a strong-headed girl; however, she is not portrayed as a fierce character. This is evident in her bond with her grandmother and Bade Abu. She is aware of the mistreatment her mother faces, but she doesn't have complete authority in the family dynamics. This can be seen in many situations throughout the show. I think we should wait to see how her character develops. The show also captures moments of joy, especially during the wedding. Even Ammar's sister wants to focus on her wedding rather than her brother's actions, even though the family dynamics are quite dysfunctional. In many cases, if one individual behaves poorly, family members tend to follow suit. Additionally, Nashwa is not fully independent, even though she is a lawyer. I believe this portrayal feels more realistic than idealistic.

Not being fierce doesn't mean being stupid. Which lady in her right senses would walk into a room full of men consuming drugs and seek a favour from a man she knows is a rapist and possibly a murdered? She ought to have been wary of his friends too: any woman would have been cautious in such a situation, and rightfully so as we saw later. It is indeed a flaw in the writing in my opinion.

The criticism for #QEJ seems quite forced. I think Hasan wants to find a problem with something. Nashwa is comfortable around Ammar her cousin someone she is grownup with. The problem in the sub-continent is we want to be spoon fed with everything to be able to accept everything. Just because she is not repelled around him does not mean she accepts him which we know she does not. Nameer has done a damn good job of making the character appealing that people want to see him as the hero and if people ship him with Yumna onscreen does not mean it is with Ammar and Nashwa. Many I see want them to work together in another show probably as a romantic pair. Also, rather than jump the gun let the show unfold and wait and see where the track with Ammar and Nashwa is leading to. You can always pass a judgement towards the end.

No Amna is not right. I'm completely with Hassan that if even a cousin is this dangerous, a girl's 6th sense works and she shouldn't come close to that person. Any girl, would be very careful around such a person - cousin or not!!! Hassan is right, it's not making sense to me as well, you stay away from such a person why is she so non chalant. Also, the whole family has completely forgotten about gang rape. It's a pathetic idea to pass to the audience.

Its always nashwa who starts conversation with Ammar. I normally don't like Hasan but this time he is making sense. I also didn't understand that last scene.That scene looked like a setup/step to bring Ammar into grey out of black. Making him grey would add more complexity to the plot and making nashwa little soft towards him. This scene will help create doubts in nashwa s mind while fighting the case. Also this scene will also help in the scenario that if Burhan is pushed by plot towards Faryal, then Nashwa could also be pushed towards Ammar and audience will not mind that. Nashwa and Ammar together is a sick dynamic as nashwa knows he is a rapist and a criminal. Not making sense.

7:04 Nashwa is not strong character as she requires Bade abbu’s permission to pursue her career in judiciary , she may emerge as a strong person due to series of events which will happen next for now she afraid of her dadi and bade abbu, she was a bit hesitant initially to even confront Ammar about the offences he has committed. And it is completely understandable as a cousin what her dynamic is with Ammar as I have experienced a similar situation firsthand and it’s completely normal for Nashwa to be okay with Ammar as a cousin she cannot ignore him as they grew up together under one roof. She hasn’t given up on the case on the other hand.

Nashwa is very much disgusted with ammar, this is crystal clear... She hates ammar. There is no doubt. But she cannot insult him or show her anger towards him all the time,they live in the same house...and also, she needed a room so that her cousin can meet with her fiance...Nashwa had no other options.so she asked ammar. I think why Nashwa choosed Ammar's room is because of accessibility ,, she is making up for a secret meeting and Ammar's room is opening in the backyard somehow it's easy for her to let the groom in so nobody will see him .. But it should be mentioned in a clear way to the audiance ..

I agree with Hassan 100% and I had the same qualms about her actions as the scene was unfolding. Why on earth would she expect a favour from Ammar and that too that he would vacate his own bedroom for her to use (she doesn't even explain she needs it for Beenu's tête-à-tête with her fiancé for some reason). If she can direct him and his friends to the rooftop, why couldn't she have directed Beenish there? Or may be asked the bridegroom and bride to have a meeting in the car itself? Of all places on the planet only Ammar's bedroom was feasible sounds completely illogical. I would attribute it to a lapse in writing or just to create a scenario where we could see the "good side" of Ammar [wonder why?] who gets protective of the women in his family even if he otherwise a womaniser and criminal. Yet, that doesn't absolve him of his crime-- Nashwa is aware of Maheen's testament to the police and knows that Maheen had come to their house and found evidence in Ammar's phone. There can be no reason for her to consider Ammar innocent even with 0.1% probability. She ought to have been wise enough to steer clear of any man, or his friends, especially when they are under the influence of drugs, who has been accused of rape and possibly murder, proven or not. Aamna's explanation about compartmentalisation did sound reasonable to me, but again, the best way to compartmentalise such emotions and avoid any dramas during a family function would have been to simply avoid Ammar rather than walking up to him and seeking a favour. To be honest, my experience of watching this episode completely soured with that one scene despite the rest of the episode being a delight to watch.

My thoughts are matched with Hasan chowdhury. Nashwa & Ammar dynamic is a biggest twist in this drama maybe. Another is Nashwa is just joined in law farms for internship. She's not professional Lawyer but she maked a case file against Ammar & after Maheen death Burhan Reopened Maheen case bcoz of Nashwa emotional pushing. No doubt she well known Ammar is criminal but as a law & logic he's crime not proved yet & now wedding function is running that's why everyone pretend about it. Just wait as a correct time only She can prove Ammar crime against by all. Watch teasers & BTS. In the situation of Nashwa, Ammar in Last scene: Ammar room located in backyard & everyone's ignored this site that's why she's trying to meet up binis+ Asad secretly by using that site. She & Ammar growing up in the same house. Ammar is a criminal not lion 🦁. So why she should be afraid to him. I can't understand your logic in this point. Surely you noticed that she called to Ammar for a room for a ladies necessary time(make up) & she try to call Asad for coming here meeting with binis & waiting outside of room. She's not entered the room. All friend are going to trance with Ammar but one stupid Guy didn't gone with him. Bcoz he harassment to her. Even she didn't have any idea about him. This attack was surprisingly to her in their house. That why she's speechless. I think here some biggest twist hidden connect to Maheen case. That's why director left a hints about him in this scene. Which can helps to Nashwa about Maheen case in future. Don't worry bro more twist, suspense is upcoming for clarifying our confusion. It will be opened step by step bcoz it's drama not a movie.

QEJ : I feel Ammar & Nashwa’s dynamic was quite natural. If u see the previous episodes, Nashwa has clearly mentioned that she considers Ammar as her brother. And if u finds out your BROTHER is a criminal your behaviour around him( ‘the criminal brother’) and your behaviour around any other criminal would be different! Even if Nashwa is willing to punish Ammar for his crimes she still wouldn’t go around throwing abuses at him! At the end of the day they are family! She will behave like family yet when the case reopens she will help Burhan to put the culprit behind the bars !!!

There is a lot of overthinking going on with Nashwa’s character in this review. It makes perfect sense and to call it that it is on the contrary is what makes no sense. This is a very idealistic or in other words a very Black and White approach by Hasan, which to me sometimes appears kind of naive. The real world is different. Our actions are not always in alignment with what we think esp where family dynamics are concerned.

Writer & director given a hints to related Maheen case through by this scene in the end of episode no 11. In future Which can be helpful to Nashwa for justice ⚖️ of Maheen. First of all about nashwa behaviour . Woh osi ghar main bari hoi hain and bec she is a family member she knew he will not do anything bad to her.and I pray no one will ever have to go through something inappropriate in the family bec family hony ki wajah say insaan 100 zanjearon main phas jata hai jahan insaan awaz is tarah boland nahi kar pata compare to when outsiders does the same thing. Doesn’t mean we are okay with the fact but most of time other family doesn’t support us being truthful and they go against us bec of not covering the issue and becoming blunt about the issue. Etna Naraz toh woh os insaan say nahi hotay jis nay galat kiya hota jitna woh os insaan say ho jatty hain jo sach kay liya awaz uthy. 2nd os kay room ka door backyard ki taraf bhi khulta hai that is why she picked his room to use so no one else can get to know about her cousin molakaat with her fiancé. I am loosing interest in Pakistani dramas now. All stories started looking similar now.. Just around marriage, mayka, sasural, cousins. No other subject. Its sad that year back I was so invested but now feeling like this. I haven’t seen any dramas where the female character is not only emotionally but physically strong.
