Houston has a pretty good cast on him... I miss doing stuff like that with my dad ...he taught all of us to be adventurous. He took us fishing, camping and 4 wheel driving... we hunted and hiked and joined every sporting team and events going. He passed away in 1993 a year before my son was born.

I recommend you get a topwater jitterbug! And go use it off the bank at night! You cannot really see anything, but you hear the fishing lure going bloop bloop bloop and when a fish hits it you hear a big splash! I caught a 4 1/2 lb Bass like that! Not the biggest fish I ever caught! But it's my most memorable one! Y'all stay safe my friends!

Hey Houston-- Jimmy Houston's devotional this morning...after the scripture, he talked about how to catch bass with a frog....he says you have to count to "3" before you set your hook....giving the bass a chance to swallow the frog before you set the hook ( or you'll usually lose the fish...

Looks like fun - love fishing! Our two small ponds were devoid of bass and catfish...nothing last year or this year...so we have several neighbors that we have helped with things and rewarding us with coming to fish their ponds...so working to try and re-stock one pond in bass and other in catfish...they also have an abundance of blue gill...so hoping maybe next year...we can get some fish!

You need to cut some channels in your grass beds that the bass can patrol. Think of it like keeping your land groomed for the deer to navigate. This will put your pond boat to good use creating some favorite bass hang outs and increase your larger bass strikes.

There is a way to put a tag into your fish and there is a number on the tag. That way you can tell the fish apart and know if that fish is growing and how fast you catch it again. Sawit on Jiggin with Jorden. He is tagging his Bass in his pond.

Daniel have you ever thought about placing a couple of solar powered fountains in your pond?
@bbrave804 жыл бұрын
Solar Fountain would help you greatly ... Improve your overall water quality. ... Helps to control and reduce excessive algae growth. ... Removes bad odors. ... Enhances the habitat of the fish life. ... Optimal oxygen conditions make bass more active, and help the fish grow significantly faster
