No motion at the snap, he calls way too many run plays under shotgun, snd his overall run game designs are HELLA abysmal. And it wont get better because Doug wont get fired even if emwe got like 4-13

Love your videos! Thanks for your diligence! Presnap motion is huge! We look stagnant on presnap and that does nothing for Trevor reading the defense. When you watch Houston last night, CJ has plenty of time in a more clean pocket. It makes reading the pressure infinitely easier when only one guy breaks through and you have “safe” places to slide to. Tlaw has 2 break in more often than not in a much tighter pocket. Trevor has shown he can sling it accurately. But the constant pressure, no easy presnap reads, and no simple receptions to build confidence will over time cause many mistakes

They haven’t been giving up the points but I am concerned with the defense. Lack of sacks, and interceptions. They don’t have game changing or momentum swinging plays. It’d be interesting what the stats showed for the falcons defense last year with less talented players. The D line is supposed to be a strength and Travon, JHA, and Arik have been almost invisible. With a volatile offense stopping the opposing teams offense 2/3 drives is great but when you can’t cash in on those opportunities you need sacks causing longer punts, or turnovers to flip the field for the offense. It’s hard to see the defense creating momentum for the O. The whole team is not firing on all cylinders, they are stuck in 1st gear

Packers don't have as many impactful players on the skill positions like the jaguars and the O-line is probably also not a top line in the league. But somehow the play calling was so great that receivers were schemed open, or rushing lanes were open by great pre snap motions. I almost never saw any of that by the jaguars offense the first 2 games. It would be easier to catalogue what isn't wrong with the offense. What we're seeing right now is a top-down failure at all levels. I will agree the offensive scheme is looking rough these first two weeks but Trevor said it best: these guys suck right now. They aren't doing their jobs particularly well and it shows.

We can't wait until the 3rd quarter to throw deep balls, he's continually showed he can throw the ball with the best of them, yet our lines play has been abysmal, play calling is horrible and Trevor is getting frustrated with it all, rightfully so. We can't have 2 6'3 WRs and continue to dink and dunk and run the ball every other play. The offensive weapons we have should be putting up 23+ points every single game, put Trevor in McDaniel's offensive system with the weapons they have and the dolphins are always a playoff team. Trevor had two really bad plays. The pass to the endzone where if he threw it to the pylon, easy tuddy for BTJ and like u said he was lookin to the right in that direction, no excuse to not see that. And the safety. The sack/fumble we can count it but that was also a deep drop. By the time he got to the top of the drop, the DLinemen was already there. Which sucks because if that was like a 3 step drop, there was a play to be made. Bad play design. Other than that, our oline had like 5 straight plays where somebody missed an assignment. Unacceptable. The first drive by the defense was also unacceptable. Two backup tackles and we couldn’t get off the field. AJ is a straight up liability at this point and I was actually high on him. He seems to be around the ball a lot he just doesn’t make the plays that are there. Dewey does. When the second quarter started, Gabe had 5 targets compared to 1 for everybody else. Unacceptable. So, playcalling and execution on offense moreso execution. With defense, it’s almost strictly execution on the backend. And tackling. A good coach can make the proper adjustments. Since Buffalo fired their OC last year, that offense looks a lot better. Even this year without Gabe or Diggs so far. Does Doug have the nuts to make a move? Who knows. He definitely not helping himself with the refusal to name a play caller.
