What’s my favorite country? Actually I was in Sydney, Australia and Bangkok, Thailand this week. I liked Sydney more than I expected! It was safe, clean and peaceful. Nothing crazy like Bangkok but I can imagine myself living there in the future. And I love Thailand. So energetic and chaotic but the people are so warm. (especially compared to people in Tokyo) And I’m planning to live in Bangkok for a month this year!

As a Thai myself, I'm glad to hear that you love Thailand! I actually want to move to Tokyo and work there though lol (I've been studying Japanese for that purpose, and I'm almost there!). I know you'd advise against it, but I love Japan enough that the down sides don't bother me. In fact I've lived there before and I loved it! Anyway, hope you have a fun time in Bangkok!

タイを好きでいてくれて本当に嬉しい🥹 If you interview Thai people, maybe half of them would say Japan is their favorite too. You would hear Thai people say Mai Pen Rai (it’s ok, don’t worry) a lot. It’s the society that won’t mind if you fail. You can be yourself, do as you like and I’ll do the same, it’s not a big deal. While Japanese people care about others and make sure they won’t cause troubles. So their personality contrast but in a good way. 😆 I grew up in Bangkok but if I need to choose the city to live in Thailand, I’d go for Chiang Mai. If you have a chance, please check it out.

Yeah, most Japanese people like India only for food and curries, but they usually don’t really like Indians. They don’t usually like brown people, specially the younger generations. This goes for Pakistanis too. If you’re a good looking Pakistani or Indian they will like you😂But this hugely varies from region to region even in Japan. Love from your neighbor though💚 🇵🇰

@@jm1835 At least white people feel discrimination at least somewhere. No offense. As with most dominant groups of people they will only understand how horrible racism is if they actually experienced it themselves. One can even say it is a humbling experience (if you are a person who unknowingly lived a very priveledged life). But with Japan, it's more on xenophobia rather than against a specific race. They are more scared of the idea of foreigners because they often know only the stereotype of foreigners. I'm not supporting their banning of foreigners in specific places but I kind of understand the mentality

I find myself compelled to express my genuine admiration for the exceptional qualities that define Japanese society. I am truly amazed, humbled, and continuously inspired by Japan's clean, respectful people, low crime rates, and peaceful, intelligent natured culture. This stark contrast to the slightly hostile and unclean aspects of some societies in England is a testament to the remarkable virtues embraced by the people of Japan. Japan's commitment to cleanliness is truly awe-inspiring. From impeccably maintained streets and public spaces to the meticulous attention to detail in daily life, the dedication of the Japanese people to cleanliness is evident everywhere. It creates an environment that not only uplifts the aesthetic appeal but also fosters a sense of pride and discipline. This remarkable quality has left an indelible impression on me, and I can't help but feel inspired by the collective effort to maintain such high standards. Equally impressive is the deep-rooted culture of respect that permeates every aspect of Japanese society. The inherent politeness, courtesy, and consideration exhibited by individuals towards one another is truly commendable. Whether it is the warm greetings, the meticulous attention paid to social etiquette, or the genuine concern for others' well-being, I have been astounded by the unwavering respect that characterizes interactions in Japan. It fosters a harmonious and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and acknowledged. Furthermore, I am profoundly moved by Japan's commitment to maintaining low crime rates. While no society is entirely immune to crime, Japan has undeniably created a safe haven for its citizens. The social cohesion, collective responsibility, and effective law enforcement contribute to a peaceful environment where individuals can thrive without constant fear or anxiety. This dedication to safety is something that I deeply admire and wish to see replicated in other parts of the world. Lastly, the intelligence and intellectual pursuits of the Japanese people have captivated me. Japan's rich history of innovation, technological advancements, and scholarly pursuits showcases a nation driven by a thirst for knowledge and progress. The emphasis placed on education and the relentless pursuit of excellence have yielded remarkable results, establishing Japan as a global leader in various fields. This intellectual prowess and curiosity are not only inspiring but also serve as a reminder of the incredible potential that lies within humanity.
