Death - Leprosy, Dismember - Like an Everflowing Stream, Entombed - Left Hand Path, Obituary - Cause of Death, Morbid Angel - Covenant, there are plenty more, but I don't want to give you a shopping list. There's also melodic death metal with bands like Dark Tranquillity, Edge of Sanity (everything passed 1992), At the Gates, Insomnium, and Arch Enemy (with Angela on vocals) Those are a few recommendations, hope those help man.
