Mój ulubiony kraj to Kanada ponieważ urodziłam się i dorastałam tam. Kanada jest wolna, ludzie sa mili, krajobrazy sa piękne. Jestem wdzięczna że Kanada to mój kraj, i nie mogę się doczekać aż w końcu mogę wracać do domu (od stanów zjednoczonych). Chociażby uwielbiam Kanadę, uważam, że Włochy to fajne i specjalne kraj, którego jedzenie i kultura sa moimi ulubionymi.

Os poloneses gostam muito da Itália e fos italianos, incrível. Meus bisavós vieram ao Brasil e "quase" todos os seus filhos casaram ou com italianos ou com descendentes de italianos! Meu avô cadou com uma italiana.... por isto me chamo "Marcelo"... era para ser Łukasz ou Marek... mas virou Marcelo... uma pena, me considero 90% polaco, porém nascido no Brasil. Sigo tentando melhorar meu idioma polonês, mas ainda não encontrei o método certo.

Moje ulubione kraje to Stany Zjednoczone z powodu spektakularnych krajobrazów, dzikich zwierząt, szkodliwego jedzenia i otwartych ludzi, a Włochy ze względu na sztukę i architekturę, język i pyszne jedzenie. Gruzja, Czarnogóra i Bośnia mają bardzo piękne krajobrazy i dobre, tanie jedzenie bez zbyt wielu turystów. Bardzo lubię też Portugalię i Polskę, ponieważ jest tam fajna mieszanka tych wszystkich rzeczy. A mili ludzie na szczęście są wszędzie. edit: Wydaje mi się, że chodzi mi przede wszystkim o jedzenie 😅

My favourite countries are - Republic of China 🇹🇼 - Indonesia 🇮🇩 - Malaysia 🇲🇾 - Singapore 🇸🇬 - Japan 🇯🇵 Out of all of them, however, I love Indonesia 🇮🇩 the most, I met a lot of friends from Indonesia on the internet and we integrated very much on webcams and voice chats. We have a very good relationship, they taught me about the history of their country and their language. I know their political situation and I think the Indonesian people are very intelligent and kind. I know most of the stories about Indonesia and I know the basics of the Indonesian language, but I want to learn it more and go to other countries that use the same language. I really liked the culture of Indonesia, but also Malaysia 🇲🇾, which is famous for its beautiful music that I listen to every day. There are many pop / folk artists in Malaysia whose songs are very meaningful and rhythmic.I also love Singapore 🇸🇬 and I know a lot of people from all the countries I mentioned, Singapore is a very nice option for the future for me due to its highly developed technology, good economic and political situation and a beautiful culture that follows other closely located countries. I love Taiwan 🇹🇼 for its history for the fight against the communist government and the beautiful story of the battle of nationalists with communists who illegally occupied the territory of the Republic of China. They also have a very beautiful culture which is obviously a Chinese culture I like very much and also a high concentration of Buddhists in this country! I also like Japan 🇯🇵 for its good situation, very old culture and history and tradition, imperialist Japan and the anime they create. Recently, I am also learning Japanese (hiragana, katakana, kanji) because it is also my future direction in life. I love all the countries I have mentioned

Hi Jan! I think you take it too literally - he probably meant "educated", but, as this was a live interview, he probably used the first word that popped up in his head. Nonetheless, the point is not a good command of English per se, but that an 80-year-old lady answered him in that language. It´s extremely rare to find an English speaking person of that age not just in Poland, but also in vast majority of European countries. That´s why, I think, this experience left an impression on the interviewed guy.
