it's still the same concept. What Sasuke is saying is, if Boruto becomes nuclear and is unable to control himself, then it's safe to say Boruto would be 100% dead and it's just Momoshiki in Boruto's body. Unless, the writers does a 360 on us and Brouto somehow "gets rid of Momoshiki's twisted idology" then he would be okay.

I think Sasuke was asking her a trick question. Sasuke knows that she wants to become Hokage, and that in order to do so, she must never give up on the possibility of saving Boruto. It's the exact situation of Naruto saving Sasuke after he became a threat to Konoha.

the scene reminds me of what itachi did to naruto, he asked naruto whether naruto could stop sasuke if sasuke ever wanted to attack konoha, even though naruto had to kill him. the paralel 👏🏼

@@brent4536 he's saying that Sasuke has evidently noticed that his daughter doesn't see Boruto as a mere teammate or friend, but something more, therefore, he wants his daughter not to make the same mistake that Sakura did in the past: not killing a shinobi who he has become a deadly threat, only because she is in love with him.

I can't believe that some people have taken this whole scene out of context! Sasuke asked this question to Sarada coz he knows Sarada aspires to be the Hokage. Being Hokage is not easy- one has to always be ready to make difficult choices even if it means that the choice involves hurting/killing a friend who has become a threat. The scene has nothing to do with Sakura not being able to kill Sasuke despite him being a threat to Konoha in the past.

No that's not it he knows that she has a good relationship with boruto and he wanted to test her like in which direction is she going ya in my thinking this is the reason . Just like Kakashi did he also tested them with the food .

Its kinda comfirmed that Boruto will go down a dark path, because everyone forgot about him, and will train to beat Kawaki, but he also loses his father and mother, so its a good chance after Sasuke dies (if he does) Boruto will go in a deep deprestion

Nah , Kishimoto was never good at foreshadowing and this episode isn't written by him . He couldn't come up with a better follow up to the foreshadowing " Those blue eyes shall take everything from you" and introduced a blue eyed Eida to do that job ... 😂 It's because he creates a new plotline while going forward, but Isayama already had a plot in mind , created foreshadowing scenarios and then added some incidents to glue them up together . They have separate writing styles .
