As the deal about the price and payment was being talked over the phone , the cyber crime agent realised something was off and found out the seller was a scammer. When the agent confronted the scammer and told him he was in the cyber crime department, the scammer tried to recruit him . Scammer was just chillin and didn't gave up. Probably got arrested later. I love how pissed they get when you are just stalling. They think they are about to steal money from someone but they don't have the patience to just listen and wait.
@peoplez1293 жыл бұрын
They make me feel very little sympathy for people who get their hands cut off for stealing. Let's not forget what they're doing: They rob elderly people in their final years and leave them destitute. They even basically kill elderly people, because when they steal their money, they can't afford things like the medicine they need. Some may even end up homeless. Imagine that nightmare. They can lose more than the money stolen, they can lose everything else. Their beloved pets end up in shelters. Their belongings end up on the curb. These scammers aren't just thieves, they're as good as murderers.
@ungeimpfterrusslandtroll71553 жыл бұрын
@@peoplez129 Couldn't agree more. They are socio or even psychopaths with no conscience. I think many of them would actually really murder somebody for a sum worth while if they think they could get away with it. They are not just ordinary thieves because it's their literal job 8 hours+ every day and it's the way they do it by talking to people for such a long time getting to know them, it's different from snatching a purse or something from a store. They go to work like average Joe but it's their job to destroy other people's lifes and they laugh about the pain they caused then they even make a follow up to do it again. I don't think it's even healthy to keep people around who are capable to behave in such a manner. Marking them by cutting of a hand would be good start.
@Afdog3 жыл бұрын
I doubt that the guys on the phones get a lot of these money, it's pretty low-level and poorly paid job for them, I bet they're doing this not because they want to get rich and fast, but because they can't find or can't do anything else. So surely they're not showing at least any sign of professionalism. I mean - in some countries people in jails do that, all this shit is supervised by guards and the actual guys on the phones are the lowest people in this hierarchy who don't get anything most of the times
@peoplez1293 жыл бұрын
@@Afdog They aren't poor. They make a decent percentage of the money they bring in. If they rob someone for $10,000, and make $2,000 cut, they've basically made a years pay in a single day. Even if they only made $100 of that (which would be 1%), they made nearly a months pay in a single day, and maybe they even make that multiple times a day. Imagine if you made in a day what you make in a month or even year. You would be jumping for joy. These scam callers are probably more wealthy than the people they're scamming, even after exchange rates. India isn't as poor as you might think. It has more rich people than the United States even. India has a 65% poverty rate. That other 35% is still 500 million people. So to put it in perspective, the people not in poverty in India, make up almost double the entire US population. That means there's more people in places like India and China that live even better than the average American. Remove India's poor from the perspective, and India would be a country with twice the population of the US, where every single person lives at least as good as the top 50% do in America.
@Afdog3 жыл бұрын
@@peoplez129 I didn't say India is poor, it's economy is booming at the moment, I was saying that these callers are lowest grade disposable material in this whole system, so it's not surprising they don't have any professionalism even in their dirty field. As seen they are not only inpatient and may be rude, they also are completely stunned if even the smallest thing goes not along their standard script, without saying they make dumb mistakes like not hiding the screen
