Great responses to the prompts! Ghost Stories sounds intriguing; might have to look that up. I'm a little scared of Orlando Figes's book about the Russian Revolution because there's this dude with insane Rasputin eyes on the front cover and spine. He was always staring into the core of my very essence from his perch upon the bookshelf. I've tried tucking the book away in a drawer, but I know he's still there. Even now. Watching. 😵‍💫 Wow. Congratulations on ten years, and I hope you enjoy Scotland!

@@Already-Overbooked Oh, cool -- Inverness is great, lovely small city with plenty of history and culture. We vacation about 40 minutes drive away, in the northern Cairngorms (National Park) -- absolutely recommend getting out there, it's amazing. That's where I'll be in September/October, and where we're planning on moving to as soon as practicably possible! If you're a hiker you'd be spoiled for choice with walks, but even if not so many stunning places are super accessible. Loch Ness is a must-see whilst you're in that area, of course. There are plenty of places along the coast of the Moray Firth where you can see dolphins and porpoises, depending on the time of year (or take a boat trip from Inverness). Loads of castles and forts to visit, and an absolute ton of distilleries if you're a whiskey fan. If you're an ice cream fan, then you've got to go to Miele's Gelateria. There are a few branches in the area, but there's definitely one in Inverness -- best gelato I've ever had (and I've eaten A LOT in my time 😂). And Leakey's Second Hand Bookshop is worth a visit whilst you're in the city. You won't be short of things to do and places to visit 😀

@@Already-Overbooked In Inverness, yes! One my favorite places, for Leakey's Bookshop, and absolutely loved dining at The Mustard Seed, the hake was a treat, no idea if they'd still have it so many years later, but best of luck with all your discoveries 🤗
