@@MrRolord that’s my fault, i’m just going off what my dad told me. neither of us are Chinese speakers. When he went to china, a man told him about the tattoo, and i was too young when he had the tattoo to really remember it, so i’m guessing it was the two characters for “beef”

I can see how this could come up due to a language barrier. While English has beef as a separate word for the meat of a bovine instead of simply referring to it as 'cow meat' or 'filet from an ox' other languages refer to the meat with the same word they use for the animal. So the person telling the guy with the tattoo that it meant ox maybe wasn't even aware that ox is not what the meat of an ox is usually called.

To the OP of story 12 about the dog, I'm pretty sure you're not a psychopath. I have an ex-family friend that let my family's dog die of heartworms after we left the dog in his care because we couldn't take him with us almost literally across the US... Let's just say a Molotov to their vehicle is nice compared to what I'd choose as my form of retribution, and I'm fairly certain that I'm not a psychopath, just a really pissed-off person who thinks that they don't look good in orange/stripes.

I was going to leave a similar comment, so I’ll just reply here. According to psychologists, they wouldn’t be considered a psychopath. Psychopathy is defined by a lack of empathy and impulse control; the former makes it impossible for a psychopath to feel for animals. It’s more likely that the person who let the dog die is the psychopath.

I have 2 stories of my own: story 1: i used to be friends with this boy, let’s call him Liam. for context, my mother is a lawyer, so Liams family would call her often and ask about legal things. honestly, i think that was the only reason they were so friendly to my mom. anyway, one day in 6th grade(context: me and liam met and became friends at age 7, but grew apart around age 10) liam’s mom texted my mom a message that said “call me asap, it’s an emergency” so my mom called her. except, i was in the car with her when she called. when liam’s mom answered she revealed that liam had put his peepee in his STEPSISTERS mouth(she was 13) and that she was now accusing him of SA. i was like 11 or 12 at the time, and absolutely shocked. eventually the charges got dropped (i think because there wasn’t enough evidence, although im not sure) but it never left my mind when i saw him after that. personally, i think he is guilty, just based on his demeanor and the way he carries himself. he’s super cocky and arrogant despite him being a…slow student😬)anyway, the story really starts when my friend, who i’ll call Maddy, started dating Liam. thing is, i wasn’t supposed to hear what was said in that phone call, and nobody knew i knew except for me and my mom, so i was confined to confidentiality. for months i tried to convince maddy to breakup with liam, without telling her my reasoning. i hated him so much, he was a jerk to her and for some reason disliked me, but she wouldn’t leave him without ‘good reason’. eventually they broke up, but if i’d told her about what he’d done i would’ve ruined their relationship and probably his school-life. story 2: my mom and her bf have been together for 10 years. they started having problems after the 2016 election( he’s a trump fanatic, my moms liberal) and my mom has this best friend who is a gay man(he isn’t openly gay because he’s a judge and we live in a small and homophobic town) that mg stepdad knows is gay. for some reason though he went absolutely insane when my mom went to las vegas and with her girlfriends and the best friend was invited. (also, since 2020 he’s been putting up security cameras around the house and demanding my mom send him ‘status’ updates via photos and messages, even tho my mom has never cheated. i’m fact, he actually cheated on 2014 so..) they came really close to breaking up, but ultimately didn’t. my mom isn’t allowed to go over to her friends house anymore (theyd usually have drinks, make keto dishes, or do horrible karaoke while drunk, i often came w her to witness lol) but anyway, my stepdad goes on a week long vacation every year for some 4wheelinf stuff or something, idk. so while he was gone my mom, her gfs, and the gay friend all went out to dinner in the city, and then got an air bnb after. when my moms bf came back he was all suspicious and paranoid (my mom didn’t tell him abt the dinner because he’d freak tf out) and he questioned me one day and asked her if she went out. i said i didn’t know(even though i did, but i wouldn’t betray my mom like that) and he said that if the ‘las vegas incident’ ever happened again he’d leave. so i have the one piece of info that could break up my mom and her bf 👍

For the first story, wow, that was, that was one hell of a roller-coaster, like wow, being the middle man in that must suck. It obviously isn’t his fault and all that but like wow, like I've seen bad marriages online where I and probably you wonder how the hell did they put a ring on. 1 thing if I told my friend this would piss him off at least and possibly cause him to end our friendship is when he got into a huge argument with someone while we were still in school. After the guy he was arguing with stormed off my friend threw his binder and hat in the garbage told me no tell of course I said I wasn't going to but after seeing the guy panic so much and the guilt eating me alive I broke my promise and told him that my friend threw his stuff in the garbage. The guys hat was special to him bc it was the last thing his dad gave him before passing away and I think that was what made me break bc he had such a strong attachment to that hat. I still haven't told him to this day that it was me that snitched on him. 1 thing that did end 1 of my friendships was that another one of my friends gfs at the time broke up with him to be with me. We dated for like 5 months had intercourse once and after he found that out he for some reason couldn't talk to me anymore bc I "Stole his girl then banged her." Tried to tell him I wasn't trying to steal her she told me long before we started liking each other that she wasn't happy in the relationship and was already planning to break up with him

Okay so, I'm not friends with this one guy anymore for reasons concerning the story I'm about to tell and other reasons that aren't relevant to the story. I had this one dude as a friend who was the opposite gender, let's call him Gecko. Anyway, Gecko would date a lot of girls online, but due to lack of genuine social connection, they never worked out. One girl he was dating suddenly blocked him for no reason and it understandably crushed him. Gecko was crying and overall just felt super stressed about the situation. Often times when Gecko felt really stressed, he would physically shake, so when I saw his hand shaking, the first thing I thought to do was give him a hand to hold and just be a comforting friend. It actually worked and it was nice to see that he was starting to feel better and less stressed. However...only a few days later, Gecko confesses to me that he's had a crush on me for two days after that incident. I just wanted to remain friends, and he seemed to respect my gentle rejection...but then his texts to me afterward started to feel really weird. For example, one time he was stressed about something and decided to text me for support. He then texted that his hands were shaking and wished that he had a hand to hold. The text kinda weirded me out a little but I thought since I had already friend-zoned him, he wouldn't see me comforting him as something potentially romantic. So I texted back, "Here's a virtual one" with a hand emoji, I thought it would be funny and helpful. I pretty much immediately regretted sending that text though, the very next text I got from him was, "It's soft and warm" which was also how he described my hands when I held his that one time when he was shaking. I would get a ton of texts from him where I couldn't tell if he was trying to convince me otherwise about dating him or if he was just being friendly, the paranoia that my best friend had secret underlying intentions was eating me up inside. And so, I came up with a really risky idea...I called it The Parker Hoax, and it was a trick to find out if my friend actually respected my feelings or not. I recruited my cousin to help me create some fake texts, and kudos to him, he was a lifesaver, anytime I needed a Parker text, he was there to deliver. One day, I texted Gecko that I had met this really cute guy named Parker, and best thing yet, he was exactly my type. Parker was funny, cute looking, he had similar life goal plans, and he lived nearby. Once I told Gecko about Parker, he asked a couple questions that were quite interesting...he texted back, "Has he called you his girlfriend yet?" and "Do you hope he calls you his girlfriend?" I thought those two texts could have been evidence enough that he did still have a crush on me, but at the same time, they could have just been friendly texts...I wanted to be sure he wasn't interested in me anymore, so...I kept it going for a week up until Sunday. The Parker Hoax was planned to end at some point, the story would be that we broke up, Gecko's reaction to that statement would tell me if he's been hoping we would become something more than what I was comfortable with. So Sunday comes, and I tell Gecko that Parker and I broke up due to him cheating on me. I kid you not, he comforted me like most friends due in that situation, I felt really relieved about that...but then the very next thing he texts is, "After school hours, we could go somewhere to eat for a bit?" and that immediately crushed my relief. I still wanted to go get something to eat, but only because, McDonald's! but for obvious reasons, I brought my sibling along with us so it would be absolutely clear that I want this hang out to be strictly platonic, so don't try anything mister! After the hang out, he did something pretty weird. This was Gecko's first time ever even walking to my house, and usually when we would walk home from school together, we would stop at a specific street corner, say goodbye, and go our separate ways. I thought since the McDonald's we were going to would have us have to walk past that exact street corner, Gecko would just wave goodbye and we would split up like normal...but instead he walks my sibling and I all the way back to our house. It kinda freaked me out and when I told my parents, it freaked them out a little as well. After a few days, I tell Gecko that I want to end our friendship, being vague about why exactly I wanted to, I didn't exactly want him to think it was entirely his fault. Sure we aren't friends anymore, but the whole Parker Hoax was a dumb and anxious decision that I honestly don't condone or recommend, I know full well that if Gecko were to find out that Parker was never even real, it would certainly put a damper on some fun memories. TLDR: I faked a boyfriend to make sure my best friend didn't still have a crush on me.

It's already ruined my friendship but my crush on my childhood best friend My fucking ex of all people told her, she broke a pinky promise to spill that, that ex is the only one of all my exes that I can't stand I reunited with my best friend last year cause it turns out we're both in the same course in college just at different levels so we ran into each other and I was friends with a dude she was friends with and we were able to talk it out, I let her know I don't have a crush on her anymore and we were able to be civil about it and we are on decent terms I don't think we'd be able to be best friends again, we don't share enough interests anymore and I'm still a bit awkward around her, longest conversation I've had with her since high school was when I bumped into her on my way to math and there was a lot of awkward pauses as we tried to keep the conversation going before my class started

That first story- Jeez! What a way to start a video. Also, gross. Hope it's fake but I've recently come to learn anything is possible and that truth is often stranger than fiction these days. I mean, we have ufo's seen on a daily basis and there are even creepy beings in my own town like these 7-9 foot tall all-black figures with gkowing red eyes that watch people and then scurry off into the woods when seen. Some weird, weird sheit, man. That doesn't even count the things I haven't seen with my own eyes that I keep hearing about online and irl. On a kess creepy note, we have things happening like a 5 year old burning a neighbor's house down with fireworks, and really old ladies breaking into warehouses. Both things happening just this last week. Someone separately boning a couple that happen to be the parents of a college buddy seems mild in comparison.
