Your lovely shelves you'll be able to keep when you get staging and put on top so you get extra height. Beetroot is fine down sown I'm clumps and grow well in small groups and the top is you pick the biggest one when ready and then the smaller ones have more room to grow and that means now waste as well as staggered harvest but only one sowing so less effort x

The allotment looks terrific. If I were you, I'd make a deal with the guy who has the wood chips, to get him to drop you off an entire load. Maybe he'd like a batch of cookies.

Hi there, I have grown pak choi in troughs in my greenhouse.Sow seeds first in pots or trays then when big enough put two or three in a trough according to how big trough is. Given up growing in garden as slugs get them before me.

Yep... squash/pumpkin will definitely get away from you if you don't watch them (you could probably cut them back but I tend to let them go).kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5qsYX-kj9agiJI As seen in this video... mine have even grown up where I have my grape vine growing... but it's all good, having one for dinner tonight :D The daffodil's and tulips look good and I'm sure when the rest bloom it will look lovely. Potatoes are pretty impressive... I've never bought seed potatoes but every year we have crops simply from compost (which are most likely the parts cut off, typically the eyes?... so they would be small), just think of the potatoes as Yoda, don't judge them by their size.
