Because the MPUV Tractor fits on the top hangar, it would be a great combination for cargo, being able to use the MPUV Tractor to load the cargo in and out

This is the reason why CIG has not implemented the cargo pods dropping down to the ground. To stop them being used to carry many different ships/vehicles. Great video, as always.

I have never been so glad I upgraded my friends and family org's flagship from a Carrack to a Polaris. Its not even close just how much more utility the Polaris has with its increased size.

Keep in mind, unless they've changed it, you can sit a ship on top of the closed hangar doors, too... if it's small enough.

I mean, opening the cargo pods is good, but really what they needed was to have them open down a bit more and have a ramp extend down to the ground and that would have been perfect.

The whole cargo pod is going to come down eventually. Also detach I believe.

@@Chaffee738 The pods are modular, so yes, detachable. But, the cargo pod coming down other than for swapping them out is problematic. Moving an empty cargo pod is one thing, a fully loaded one another, to be credible it would require many more, beefier parts than they can currently fit.

You need to start trying to close the doors when you do hangar tests. The MPUV does not fit the carrack.

@Cpt_Foxyloxy Please check for me a issue on the LIVE servers. I have tested 4 times. Carrack from bounty missions is now virtually unlootable (reliably). 3.24.3 Step 1: Soft death carrack Step 2: Detach Carrack's cargo that you want from the grid. Step 3: Blow up Carrack Step 4: Be in pain that all the cargo you wanted is gone (disappeared) and you are only left with the ones that were still attached to the cargo grid. I did this with the Reclaimer aswell, same results.

I think like the Crusader Intrepid. I would like more a, soliution with ramps for the Caterpillar but I think with elevators is fine with the Carrack.
