They definitely need a LB, RB, CB and Striker. Midfield and wingers are fine. The reason for their recent poor results is because key players have been injured/suspended and it has revealed how thread-bare the squad is. Pique injured and Araujo suspended meant that the centre-back options have been Eric Garcia, Clement Lenglet and Oscar Mingueza. Eric has been ok (very good at times but also gave away 2 penalties in past 3 games), whilst Lenglet and Mingueza are walking disaster artists. Meanwhile, Alba has no replacement at LB so if he gets injured it will be a problem. Alves and Dest have both been injured/suspended and it has meant Araujo and Mingueza (neither of who are RB's) have been forced to play at RB. They need a goal scorer also. Aubameyang, whilst he has been good, missed *SO MANY* sitters in his past 3 games, and his build-up play is very poor (often Ter Stegan will float a long ball to him and Aubameyang doesn't have the first touch to control it, losing possession almost every time). It is also worrying how much worse the team seems to be without Pedri, (benched against Levante and came on to turn it around 3-2, was injured against Frankfurt and was injured against Cadiz), though Frenkie, Gavi, Nico and Riqui seem like good enough options. Priorities absolutely should be a good centre-back, valid LB and RB back-ups and world-class striker.

A ball playing center back who can break the lines effectively and be a successor to Pique. Schlotterbeck from freiburg who is a 22 year old left footed Cb looks to be a perfect match. His abilty to break lines is excellent and is a very good progressive dribbler for a center back.He would be excellent at helping break the lines against low block teams where barca look to have struggled without pique and fit perfectly into Xavis possession system.

I think it's not about how strong managers are, it's also more importantly about how players are just getting lazier and lazier with Man U as a prime example and also a lot of teams who only play for 45 mins most games (my team Aston Villa are a infuriating example).
