I tried this mixture and "lo & behold", it worked! A month ago I was desperate; Pigeons were congregating on my 11th floor patio and I found myself shooing them away every half hour...!! I looked at other videos promoting spikes and noisy tape; then I stumbled across this one. I took all the ingredients (except lemon oil... I used lemon juice), mixed them together and poured it into a spray bottle. After the 1st treatment they disappeared for 3 days; They dispatched a scout who landed, walked along the balcony rail and took off. After that... nothing. They haven't been back since. I spray the mixture once a week usually on Monday morning and that's that. Great video...! I am eternally grateful.

Thank you very much. I stay on the top floor of our complex and have quite a problem with the pigeons. I am trying this immediately. I will also be using lemon juice instead, for I don't have lemon ess oil. Thanks again.

I recommend doing it twice a month. I was doing this to keep a dog away little did I know it kept birds away. Now I have birds having play time out front. So I will keep on.

Here's my experience on the usage of the solution at 1:06. For my application, to try and repel woodpeckers from creating a hole in the exterior siding of my house, I sprayed this solution around the outside of the hole for several days.(I did not want to introduce moisture or wetness of any kind into the inside of the wall cavity, where the insulation is. Thus usage of cotton balls soaked in the solution was out.) Result: NO deterrence effect at all over several days. I had even soaked the outside around the hole MANY times each day over the several day period. Once again, no positive results attained. They kept coming back.

I've been having real trouble keeping seagulls away from my yard, but these tips seem to have done the trick. The peppermint oil also keeps the yard smelling fresh.

I know this is one of your older videos, but what is your source? What had me questioning this was that birds can’t smell very much, as they don’t have any use for it in the wild.

Didn’t work! The bird actually took the cotton balls out of her nest. Guess she owns the house not me! Wish I could upload the video of her removing it

You probably would need to remove the nest 1st, then place the cotton balls that have been soaked in the solution where the nest was.
