You seem to be a natural presenter, better than many pros ive watched in fact. Great car. I have a Westfield with same power to weight as the CSR260 and in general it's too much for British roads. Luckily I have a boost controller in the cabin so mostly run at lower power levels on the road. I have to agree with some other comments though, please at least wear a good pair of sunglasses or some kind of eye protection. I've been hit smack bang in the eye area before while wearing shades and also at other times a helmet, they definitely saved my vision.

I remember that it featured in a couple of Evo magazine around 2005. It's that unique frame and chassis that made it special and evolved in terms of driving dynamics. From memory that was also it's main criticism from Catherhams purists for being too "sanitised" vs the classic versions of Catherhams. Fierce traditionalists that bunch!

Excellent vid on the wonderful CSR - very professional :)) In terms of how many were made. The best source I've found reports 482 CSRs in total. As a breakdown: 194 CSR260, 198 CSR200, 86 CSR175, 4 specials.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. I tried to get official numbers from caterham but they ignored me. I had unofficial numbers but i have a feeling, based on your info, that it was for North America only. 🤷‍♂️ I wonder why manufacturers are so coy with production numbers… 🤔

I recently got to drive a 200hp CSR. The suspension difference to my de dion R400 was noticeable! 200hp in these things is easily enough too 🚀

Speaking as a 'conventional' Caterham owner the CSR is the ultimate development. I believe they are no longer available new so if you get the opportunity, buy one.

Pretty brave with no eye or helmet protection. I recently had my windshield cracked by a hard hit from a rock falling off a passing gravel truck. If that had hit my head, it would have been a mess!

Check the rear lower suspension mounts, they fail with rather drastic results, upgraded items are available from Leo’s motorsport
