I feel so sad for this lady, there at least two of my prescriptions that I am out of and I can’t get them filled currently. I just don’t have the money at the moment. They are for my osteoporosis that I have. Those prescriptions keep my bones from becoming even more brittle and breaking.in 2017, I was walking inside my apartment and for no reason fell, fracturing my left femur, two weeks before my son’s wedding. I got to go to, but in a wheelchair, spent 1 month in hospital, and 1 month in skilled nursing home. As a older American as most of us know, we deal with health issues the younger generation haven’t begun to deal with. May God Bless all of you, and may we all get the stimulus check. I read on a IRS web page, that some of the mailed check are taking up to 10 to 14 business days to make it to your mailbox. That has kinda freaked me out, you know. The way I look at this,I am grateful we are getting anything. Those of us that do get monthly money hopefully can survive until it arrives. I know how hard it is when you suddenly lose your job.it happened to me two years ago. I didn’t have anything except SS but I got by until now so this stimulus money is something extra I haven’t had until now so I patiently wait for it and I don’t complain . Life has been hard for the past two years and will be again no doubt so I am very happy for this relief. Put a smile on your face....things could be worse.

I guess there's nothing we can do If supplemental security income beneficiaries do not get the Stimulus check by May 5th whether it's by direct deposit or by a check in the mail, I honestly do not know what to say. It would be a big disappointment. I guess we should just Let God Handle this. Many of my friends got it who get SSDI. They went on irs.gov and were able to look up their status about the check but, for some weird reason, I kept getting payment status unavailable or eligibility status not available or there was always a problem with the way I type it in. Even though I put in the information the correct way. Maybe its different for them and they didn't file taxes just like me. Who knows?🤔

I am a tax payer in this State and I was denied the stimulus check, because I was a dependent on my son income tax. For that i was disqualified, but he was still aloud to receive the stimulus check, that jus doesn’t make any sense to me. Especially inlight of stimulus checks being sent to people that are deceased. I just don’t understand. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income really could have used that money. They talked about helping helping the American people, and putting money in their pockets, well we know that was a lie, abuse they didn’t give it to everybody.

I'm an SSI recipient also & still no stim check yet. I'm not really surprised about that. When we were told back in March to expect it the first wk of April I told friends to add a mth to that & it should be here. They thought I was joking. When you're expecting money from the government never count on it untill it's in your hands. I think the biggest mistake was allowing the IRS to handle the distribution. They are not dependable enough to get it to us in a timely manner. I wish he would look into other ways to send next one. I'm burnt out on hearing just be patient the money is in the mail. I hope that doesn't mean what it used to. Check is in mail used to mean no check.

The IRS has had updated direct deposit information from social security recipients since January in the form 1099 for those who don't have anything but a fixed benefit amount that the receive each month. That money isn't taxed and you don't file any kind of return unless you are working part time. Payouts to social security recipients, especially direct deposit, should have been the easiest and most efficient part of the program. I'm not saying they should have been first. But I am saying they should have been the easiest. And we were given so many different dates and so much misinformation that it's been very stressful. And it didn't really have to be.

First of May since social security people get theirs at the end of April. Hopefully social security and SSI get it before May 15. On the IRS portal you have until the 15th. After that and you haven't gotten it then contact IRS. I only know about the IRS portal.

I’m on social security and I got my regular social security payment AND my stimulus check on April 15th the same day I’ve always been paid. I live from payment to payment each month like most of us. So before you start blaming the government you should check everything first. Believe me I’m no fan of this present administration but If I got paid then so did a lot of other people. Next time I checked, the message said they had my bank account number and would let me know when I would receive the money. I am retired on SS I don't make enough to file a tax return. I know I'm not getting a Stimulus check and I don't expect one. I had to retire early to take care of my mom with Alzheimers. I lived in her home. When she passed, I tried to rent an apartment, but I couldn't qualify because my income was too low. So I moved in with my daughter's family. I have a tiny room off their garage that we put a kitchen in. I live separate and apart from them. I buy my own groceries and pay all my own expenses. I use their electricity and water and cable. But I am considered their dependent and they claim me on their tax return. My question is how can people on SS, SSI that don't make enough money to pay taxes, afford homes and apartments? I couldn't even qualify for HUD housing because I make too much money. If my daughter hadn't taken me in, I would be homeless. So now even though I pay for my groceries, clothes, car, insurance, credit card, I can't get the $1,200 because I'm in a category with retirees who are solely dependent on their kids for care and support. Sorry for venting.

You on SSDI, or SSI Most people on SSA, SSDI, Railroad retirement are getting there’s now if they filed taxes or used the tool to put in dependents, most from what I am see who don’t file taxes haven’t received,on those programs yet probably my guess won’t see till next week when they get up with social security administration they have there information, it will be the same with SSI and VA they have till the 5th to put dependents in so they get the extra 500 per, it will be the same the one that put in there info or pay taxes will see it , then the one they don’t have info on will either get a paper check or direct deposit when the get with the people that run those programs, now people should check and see if any family members have claimed them if there on SSDI, SSI or VA disability cause you won’t receive one and they can’t get that extra 500 for you cause your over age of 18, and if your on those programs and out info in and didn’t have any dependent , you have to wait even longer cause the system there using is like 20 years old and it will read like your trying to get double pay
