Great teaching. For the charimatic you mentioned known and unknown. For the knowledge (unknown) is when the Holy Ghost gives reveals knowledge about someone. Ex. Jesus knew what the pharisees where thinking. (Ive had this experience once in a prayer session) Other unknown is by experienced in John travelled "in the spirit" also i guess knowledge since he received revelation.

Lots of great points here. I'm at about 45 minutes here, and he lists 7 categories and says they summarize all ministry. It appears to be taken from Romans 7, but he substitutes 'prophecy' with 'proclaiming', which isn't the same thing.

Biblical Spiritual Gifts - does not simply mean endowments -that misses the intended purpose and benefits of God's spiritual gifts - the root word Xara - in Greek means JOY, the full word Xarismata refers to Charisms, or Graces from God given for equipping the Saints in the work of ministry and therefore, providing for the healthy functioning of the Church, which is also known, as the Body of Christ. When our Charisms (gifts) are employed in serving others for the Glory of God in the work of ministry, the Charisms (gifts) bring JOY to those who employ the gift and to those who receive the gifts!!! AND most of all, JOY to Christ, Himself - our King and our God! So, employing our Spiritual gifts is a source of our joy - and witnessing the Joy of our salvation is our gift to others!

man of GOD thanks for your teaching these gifts. i have this question in ROM12 we a gift of prophecy and again in 1cor12 also,so can you explain whats the diference there
@nbttnetwork7 жыл бұрын
Sorry for my delay in response. I hope this will answer your question. Thank you for your thoughtful question, the differences between prophecy in Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12! The answer lies in understanding that there are three distinctly different groups of giftings and each group of gifting has a specific function and agenda different that the others.. A teaching is coming out shorty on this subject entitled, “The Big Picture of Spiritual Gifts.” I hope you’ll watch for it. But let me give you a synopsis: 1) there are different groups of giftings, actually three in number. These are summarized in 1 Corinthians 12… “now there are diversities of gifts…” (Verse 4) 2) Group One are called Administrations… ‘there are differences of administrations…” (Verse 5) 3) Group Two are called Operations… “And there are diversities of operations…” (Verse 6) 4) Group Three are called Manifestations… “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given…” (Verse 7) 5) The Administration Gifts (given to the church) are five in number and listed in Ephesians 4:11 6) The Operation Gifts (given, deposited in persons) are seven in number and are listed in the Romans 12 passage. 7) The Manifestation Gifts are nine in number and listed in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 These gifts are dispersed to the Romans 12 people in real time situations to increase their effectiveness and profit. They are like supernatural tools to aid each gifting in its function… whether a Proclaimer, Teacher, Exhorter etc. Now to your question: In the Old Testament, Prophets did basically two functions: they proclaimed which means to tell forth and secondly thy prophesied, meaning they predicted coming future results and events. That predicting aspect now differs in the New Testament as indicated in Hebrews 11:1-2 which says, "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son…” Generally speaking, the New Testament Prophet is no longer a future prediction function but a FORTH-telling as opposed to a FORE-telling. Thus in Romans 12 there are persons gifted to forth-tell. In order to prevent misunderstanding I have used the term, “proclaimer” to prevent the connotation of predicting. That person is a Messenger. The 1 Corinthians 12 use of prophecy differs in that it like all of the nine manifestation gifts are not possessed by persons but rather dispensed to us by the Holy Spirit in real time and in real life experiences as empowerments to carry out our personal gifting. What makes the difference is between the two in your question is that one is a is a gifting deposited and possessed by a person. It is their specific job description. Whereas the 1 Corinthians 12 is an on the spot empowerment to “forth-tell” a message, a divine help. I hope this helps answer your question. Congrats to you for being a seeker after God and the Truth! Sincerely David.L. Johnston

Excellent teaching! Only one point I disagree with. He stated that Christ laid aside His divinity when He came to Earth. Not true- Jesus was always God from the beginning -He said "I AM!" a well known statement made by Jehovah in the Old Testament. If He had laid aside His divinity, He would not be able to do miracles. They proved His divinity. Otherwise, I've learned my calling and gifts from this man's teaching and I am very grateful! Thank you!

Carmen Eminescu your very wrong in your biblical theology because Jesus Christ is God according to the doctrine of the trinity.If you read John chapter 1 verse 1 it says that Jesus Christ is the word and the word was God: so the scripture clearly in the book of John says that Jesus Christ is God and throughout biblical scripture it says that Jesus Christ is God.So according to Christian doctrine Jesus Christ is the son of God and God to.

“Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained, But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being. And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross! Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name,” Philippians 2:6-9 AMP

Great word thanks. I believe the Prophet must have ALL the manifestation gifts. I also believe the doctrine of tithing operating is wrong, it's a form of set tax, rather we give, and it is really the givers (those who God has made wealthy with resources) who have to fund the Body, not the poor.

Xarismata means gifted. it just means gifted, don't jump to conclusions that its from God, maybe maybe not. The word Theoxarisma which means God gifted wasn't used. To be able to Evangelize or be a teacher takes talent, they are gifted, I would make a terrible one of those as would most people. apostles are teachers sent by God and that in itself makes him a gifted one. Speaking in languages (different tongues) knows 2 or more languages, that's all that is, Now we come to miracles and prophesizing, these come only From God, and the ones that usually have these gifts are the monks. The times in which the apostle spoke in his normal everyday language but the person/s he was speaking to heard him in theirs was part of them being allowed to perform miracles, but rarely did the apostles have this need.

I have discernment. What is being said about 'Jesus giving up his divinity' is wrong. Jesus did not give up his divinity. For he was a man, and was highly exalted and glorified and is now Lord. He was a king at birth according to the flesh, not god.

Jesus isn't God he is the son of God people get confused and think he's God but he isn't in order to have a relationship with God it has to be through Jesus. He said no one comes to the father but through me.

Jesus Christ is God according to the Christian doctrine of trinity.When you read John chapter 1 verse 1 it clearly says that Jesus Christ is God because it says that in biblical scripture in John chapter 1 verse 1 that Jesus Christ is the word and the word is God so that clearly says Jesus Christ is God and all throughout biblical scriptures it says Jesus Christ is the son of God and God and that's is the Christian doctrine of truth we Christians believe in.

prophet donnell johnson so who would jesus pray too when he was on the cross and asked his father to forgive those who crucified him in the new testimate jesus prays several time to his "father" whos he praying to then?
@gracetemple110 жыл бұрын
Jesse Galindo God is Trinitarian by nature that means God is a trinity which means that there is one God who is three persons in the persons as the father, son and Holy Ghost.So the father, son and Holy Ghost are three different persons but there is only one God and Jesus Christ prayed to the father.Jesse you got to just accept the fact that there is one God only who is a trinity in three persons and that's the doctrine us Christians believe.Jesse God is of a high order than us natural humans there are laws of the natural and laws of the supernatural and God is a supernatural being not natural being so his makeup is different than humans so the supernatural is a whole different form of reasoning than the natural thinking in the natural you can't walk on water but in the supernatural you can walk on water because Jesus did it so God's being goes against natural thinking and it's supernatural reasoning and you got to accept it by faith that there is one God who is a trinity.God's being is not natural it's of a spiritual supernatural nature when compare to humans so according to the bible God's nature has always been a eternal nature of trinity in the persons of father, son and Holy Ghost but one God.Im a student of Quantum physics in the realm of the Quantum world it goes against are natural reasoning because 2 plus two doesn't equal 2 for example in the natural world I could be holding two apples in my hand but if a person looks in the Quantum physics realm they are really holding four or six apples in there hand there are different dimensions in the Quantum spiritual world.According to the bible you have angles called cherubim and they can proably have 4 or 5 heads on one body but the cherubim angel would only be one angel with 4 or 5 different heads you wouldn't say the cherubim angel is 4 or 5 different people but one angel with 4 different heads on one body but all the different heads represent that one cherubim angel.My whole point is this God's spiritual being is higher than natural man because God's eternal nature isn't a man but a spirit who is three persons and that's what we Christians believe in when it comes to the trinity nature of God and if you don't believe in the trinity nature of God you can't be saved and eternal hell's fire awaits a person who doesn't believe in the trinity nature of the one God and once a person is in eternal hell's fire they can't get out of that torment so a person must believe that there is just one God who has a trinity nature if he doesn't believe that he isn't no Christian and he cant be save.

prophet donnell johnson i didnt read all of that too long but i believe there is one god and that god sent his only son to die for our sins.no one has ever seen god and jesus said that "no one comes to the father but through me" so in order to get to god we need jesus christ to get us to him.
