what tapes to avoid purchasing and the signs of a bad tape

It’s the sticking and squeaking tapes I have the biggest issue with, and you can’t see that! You can sometimes save them with alcohol and LAST, but it’s time consuming. For a bad reel, I just put it on a new one and use Undu to remove the label and reaffix it to the new reel, if it’s plastic or just put it in the box if it’s metal.
