i honestly never understood why they decided to send Nathan to Royal Academy. I mean, they sent Axel back to his OG team, why not do the same with Jude? I guess they needed Jude to be one of the MC's mentors I guess.

Most of the people connected to Royal had personal beef with Kageyama. Nathan is the only one (beside the several attempted murders) that doesn’t have any personal beef with him

I'm guessing it's to reestablish the weakness of his heart and his desire to become more powerful? Because now that Season 2 wasn't happening, he wouldn't be able to get that moment of leaving the team because he felt that he was too weak and that he couldn't get any stronger without something like the ambrosia or the power of the meteor. Following Dark was just the next closest thing to getting that kind of power. That's how I see it at least

Tbh I think Eric and Max could be swapped teams wise. I think Eric would have a lot more dynamics with Mary times, since perhaps they could remind him of Dylan Keats (especially Hurley if he is still a member in the Ares timeline). As for Max on Shuriken, uhhhhhhhh, hat = ninja

I feel like Eric could've done just fine in Zeus' team cuz in the world tournament arc they had a dribble technique called the icarus (where one person is thrown into the air by their teammate over the enemy and wings appear, also pegasus shot tri pegasus and even tri Phoenix make more sense on Zeus team)

@@pixelperfectgaming1996 that is true, but I imagine as runners up in the tournament, Zeus would’ve been less likely to have been considered for someone to have been put on their squad in comparison to Mary Times who didn’t take part in FF so their would’ve been no record of their skill.

@@turdperson4463 But then again, since they did use Gods Aqua and then got reverse shat on from 0-3 to 4-3 (and if my very old memory of it is correct, Raimon was down 1 player so were playing 10 against 11) They also lost 3 players due to them going to highschool (had to look this up to be sure), with them being replaced by new first year players whoms skill was unknown I assume. But I can see the argument going both way. Then again I might just be biased because Aphrodi is my favorite character and I wanted Zeus to get just a little bit more screentime.

Tom really insulted Tod there. Remember, in season 3 Tod ended up becoming the new captain of Raimon so he must have SOME level of reliability. As for the other characters, sled dogs. They are questionably useful. I agree about Steve's choice. Fauxshore really has nothing going for it except a copycat goalkeeper.

I agree with most of your speculations here except for Bobby and Erik. Personally, I think Erik was supposed to go to Zeus and Bobby to Alius (now Sun Garden) or that school that got wrecked by Gemini Storm in the beginning of the Alius arc.

In my headcanon Steve went to Umbrella for basically the same reason you had him go to Fauxshore and Timmy to Shuriken as Cloister Divinity is known to not compete and so they'd be a lost cause to try and improve, while Shuriken is basically the next best thing and technically speaking Shuriken is not only ninjas as there's a samurai (in Sam Samurai) and two sumotoris in the two big defenders. Erik and Bobby were confirmed to go back to America.

For me, when I first heard they were switching teams, I was expecting Jack/Kabeyama to go to Farm Jr. since they had such a strong defense. Imagine trying to score and they pull out THE wall and the infinite wall.

i mostly agree but i wouldnt put eric and bobby in any japanese team at all, imo they went back to america after the FF tournament, maybe they joined Dylan and Mark at their school in america bc the alius attacks never happened they never had to stay in japan so they just went to america immediately imo

I think if it were allowed I would send Tod to Sue Hartland's team, Max I would send to Shuriken because of Max's athletic abilities, Sam I would send to Mary Times for his more positive, group-work personality and Steve I would send to Umbrella, for being a school close to Raimon and KFC (If it was possible to send them to GO teams, I would send Max to Ivy Selective, Willy to Prodigy Grammar, Bobby to the Milky Way or Lunar Sea and Erik to Universal or MT Olympus)

all ima say is this. idk how to say the name Forkshore? ye basically that team, I don't think exists in ares. Reason why it doesn't exist is because ares scrapped the alius arc. outer code only went up to the point where Mark (Endou) just beat Zeus. And then went straight to ares. So would that not mean almost all of the team past Alius (Besides Aliea obviously) were scrapped?

Ah. The two players that seemingly don't have enough of a theme to be in a team (that rhymes) that makes sense. Max just makes no sense at all but it's the best I suppose for a wind forward that's kinda interested in football. Sam honestly has nothing. I don't see a theme around him or anything, and Jude immediately replaces him upon joining Raimon. To be real, he was dead weight that deserved what happened to him by Gemini Storm.

I honestly don't understand why Ares decided not to use the rest of the other OG characters in Ares. And Orion isn't any better. In fact, as I've said many times before, Orion is the *worst* entry in the entire Inazuma Eleven series.

I see what people mean by that, but if you detach yourself from all original characters, the only big character issue (for me at least) is that they tried to bring in so many characters that it ended up being "player joins this episode, is the main reason they win the next match, relegated to bench player right after", the characters felt like they were shoved into the team a lot. Personally I did like Orion though.
