The next generation can only be compared if there is a new Federer, Nadal..., only if one of them in the competition of the greats, is bigger than all of them, can be considered the greatest. This new generation with Alcaraz and Sinner shows promise, but there is still no third or fourth big, and this duo is still not at the level of the big three. That in any case, if someone in any conditions and with any competition surpasses all previous players, he will be a new goat, and that's it.

I am Rafa's biggest fan. I considered Novak t he best ever, before the olympics. I will be getting killed for this, but I think both Rafa and Novak are better than Federer. Federer had the best style, a joy to the eye to watch. The way he plays he romantices tennis. I think he is the most influential.

Doesn't matter how many slams you won, it matters agianst who and how. Djokovic had the luxury of facing Feder and Nadal towards the end of their careers for most of his slam winners. He didn't have any other decent opponents. Had Sinner and Alcaraz emerged just a couple years earlier Djokovic wouldn't be able to reach even 20 GS. Is he great tennis player - sure. Is he the GOAT based only on his GS won? Absolutely NOT. Djokovic is just the player who won the most GS so far. Untill the next guy wins more
