The fact is, the Niners made a lucky draft with Puni. They desperately need a center to protect Brock. A noise with a free run to the quarterback has the potential to injure him. Perhaps it’s time to let go of the dead weight contracts and start fresh. Or maybe the main stars still have one more run in them. I’m not sure what the right answer is.

Those big contracts are not producing. Players are old tired and injured. They need to go younger like GB. I agree with you.

I think, based on both performance and just sheer fit/talent on this roster, the only expensive vets I'd like to stay are: Kittle, Bosa, CMC, Warner, Lenoir, and Aiyuk. Deebo isnt the player he was, and he wasn't able to adapt to the way the league has played him, particularly beating man coverage. Hargrave never worked out, Collins and Elliot can go as well. Floyd hasn't been special enough for me, especially with Bosa out. Sad to say it, but Moonie Ward probably isnt a guy you can afford to keep. Wish him and his family nothing but the best though, class act all the way Agree with a lot of folks on the OL as well. Brendel and McKivitz need to be upgraded from. Banks may be gone in FA, but he wasnt great this year either. You have basically just Puni and Trent as the dudes under contract and the ones you WANT under contract in 2025 to build around, so lots of work to do along the line. My big thing is, if you are going to invest 45-50 mil on Brock, maybe a lot more in incentives to bump that number up, you HAVE to protect him with a top 10 offensive line

Ricky not getting any targets is not his fault. It’s how he is being used and whether he’s the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. read on that play. He should be moved up in the progression because Jennings is getting more attention now.

As a IA Hawkeye fan, I still question why Niners took Ricky Pearsall and not Cooper DeJean in the 1st round, because I knew Cooper was a stud, both as a Punt returner and on defense.

Trade Bosa in the offseason for draft picks get someone that can Rush the quarterback instead of sitting on the bench collecting 30 million a year while being mediocre since he got paid.

Jake brendal has to go, get a linebacker, figure what to do w Huf, Pay Purdy 45 per year not including incentives, Sorenson needs help or has to go, special teams needs to be heavily restructured, look in free agency for D lineman

You tank for the draft. And hope you hit on every single one lol. A full strength niners team is not beating the lions. The corners are average, both lines suck, and Brock isn’t playing as good. Oh and pay Brock 30-40 mil tops
