Truck drivers are the EYES of the road throughout the country. Follow Indiana Jack through Central Illinois and see lots of trucks, the countryside and where President Lincoln debated his opponent Stephen Douglas in Charleston Illinois.

Two things stand out about Jacks videos. His mind is sharp and not bordering on the foolish like many trucker video comments throughout their presentations. Also the use of Jacks video editing is outstanding, and makes for a professional presentation, always to be enjoyed. Thank you Jack. Next time you go through Lincoln NE, I buy coffee!

+Gary Mayo I totally agree,at first his personality was a little dry but it really works and by the end of the first video I watched I was glad I gave him a chance.He has superior content and seems to genuinely care about his profession and viewers and it shows by the effort he puts into things.He's in it for the long haul so to speak and not just to create a ruckus and hype to get his face out there...........I have found Sergie Dratchev (sp?) of Heavy Haul TV to also do a great job on his videos and I would put his content and video quality up there with IndianaJack so if you're looking for another quality channel its worth checking out and fun to see his progression in video work and trucking as a owner operator in Canada.

There are not many things as soothing as the open road. Aside from lousy asphalt, of course. I'm getting close to retirement as an engineer and wish to take my young daughter touring the States in an RV. Your films are inspiring. Thank you and keep up the great work. Questions: How many cameras do you use, are they rolling for the entire trip, how long does it take to edit one segment and what software do you use to edit/ superimpose you onto the forward looking view?

I’ve been doing this for the past 2 years and always enjoy watching your videos. Sometimes it feels like travelling along with you seeing places going places and I know live really is a great adventure. This is the first time for me to send you a comment. The reason is your ending about Genesis 28:20 (Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will watch over me on this journey I am taking and will give me food to eat and clothes to wear). Please elaborate/explain? Drive safely and stay out of trouble. Greetings from The Netherlands

Hey Jack, that is the Rockport Generating Station. It is a coal-fired power plant. It does have two cooling towers that look very similar to the ones often used by Nuclear plants. But it also has one of the largest smokestacks in the world coming in at 1038 feet. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockport_Power_Plant

Is Volvo the way to go as a truck?
@indianajack
@indianajack 9 жыл бұрын
It's really just personal preference on the truck you drive. I like all trucks and don't really prefer one brand over the other. There are many who disagree with me however. Volvo is a good truck for fuel economy, comfort, and turning radius. The reason there are so many people that hate them is that they are associated with the big carriers.
