Marc, wife and I found your channel months ago and have become big fans. We started watching from your very first post ,we are up to where you have just entered Africa. Seeing you out there on the Honda was only thing but this electric bike has us on the edge of our seats. Europe and charging is one thing but Africa and beyond talk about being a thrill seeker and adventurer, that is respect. We will be watching your whole adventure and where ever life takes you that you are kind enough to share with the world. I hear you mention the people out there that choose to write negative things and just do not get it. I would say, here is someone that had a vision, a dream, and has made it happen at great cost to his personal life I am sure. Can you say that? Gods speed, please be safe to you and Maree. Thank you for the endless hours you put into this just so we can tag along. Tot Tot

Cuz of the cheap price of feul in Iran, there are a lot of fuel smuggling into Pakistan and Afghanistan from the cities close to the border like Zahedan. There is always feul shortage in those cities and the trucks have to wait a long time to get diesel.

4:29 - From what I read in a newspaper article last year, they have only been expanding the EV charging infrastructure in India in an organized effort since 2021 / 2022 and initially only on highways / main roads and near metropolitan areas and larger cities. Route planning in India could therefore still be done with caution and care.

Hey Marc, what a amazing video series across Iran. I love the scenery, the desert and mountain. For an European guy, it is a very appealing landscape to me, because it is totally different then what I am used to. I can understand the frustration of the Iran-based viewers, but as a motorcyclist I may have chosen the same route to simply cross a country. For just reaching a target location, it is not worth to detour multiple 100s of kilometer. Have a nice trip, stay safe! ❤
@MarcTravels Жыл бұрын
Yes true and honestly i don’t make videos to advertise countries, I just document my journey. Some of the new viewers from Iran don’t seem to understand what it is about here on this channel. But yeah leaving Iran in the next episode…than the new Pakistani viewers will tell me how I’m doing it wrong 😅

Marc, By the routes that you have taken in Iran you have successfully avoided anywhere that is developed or green in Iran. I hope you audience does not come away thinking that Iran is ONLY what you have shown in your videos. Iran has many more developed parts and large cities with city people and infrastructure. You have chosen to go by deserts, small towns and villages with very little infrastructure and people. But, no matter where you go in Iran as you experienced people of Iran always protect the foreigners traveling inside Iran. Bon Voyage

When I travelled with my brother through France and into Spain, we would call my wife in UK and she would find a hotel for us to go to, while we were on the road, riding. It is a godsend to have someone ringing around, and in your case, speaking the language, explaining your needs - not expensive, recharge the bike and wifi. Mohamed, I'm sure, is very happy to help you find accomodation in his country. And it could be seen on the video how much of a relief it was for you to have somewhere to go! Hey Marcus, happy to see you managed to find a spot, having a friend you can count on! No 4* maybe but who cares, home stay gives a more real experience of the country. And don't despair. You may have to sleep on the ground or a bench next to the bike some time behind a gas station building, plugged in through a window, but as long as you're safe it's just discomfort and part of the adventure. It all could be much worse ;-) I slept in an unfinished building on the concrete floor once just to have some shelter, and turned out fine. Not even really uncomfortable wearing protective motorcycle clothing :-) No worries, let's do it!

Marc , welcome to Iran & have a wonderful journey anywhere you travel to but don’t forget when you return to Iran take the Caspian see rout which is totally different from what you’ve experienced! Once you go to Pakistan & India you will realize that how clean Iran is compare to all Indic countries plus Iranians are very hospitable & friendly! Bon voyage. ✌️🤟

You can search on Google about Information about northern Iran because it has a more complete explanation. Iran is one of the countries with 4 seasons, where the Caspian Sea is surrounded by greenery. 0:02

If you come from west you should go to HASHTPAR - BANDAR ANZALI - Rasht - LAHIJAN - Ramsar - Chalus then from Chalus to Tehran - KASHAN - Isfahan - SHIRAZ Or YAZD thats up to you both is good then BANDAR Abbas if you had time and enjoyed you also can go to Qeshm which is Island that is the golden route by passing theses cities you will see 80% of the beauty of Iran come during May or June that’s the best time do not come From 15th of march till 1st of April that’s the Iranian new year and every where is crowded and booked
