2023 is actually the first year that all drivers have cameras in helmet for the race. Great video as always, Kym!

Also, each car can only broadcast one camera at a time due to bandwidth limitations. That's why when you're watching an onboard camera sometimes if the production crew want to use that onboard feed for live TV it might cut from the T cam to another location, like the driver helmet cam.

Great vlog Kym! 9:05 I'd call that Piaggio a 3-wheel scooter & not a bike. Anything that allows you to put your feet together or on a large platform base is a scooter. It's the bane of my existence on "Are You Human" CAPTCHA tests, showing me scooters but asking to select motorcycles! 😡😝

Awful subject for a Captcha as this really varies a lot from country to country. Here in the UK the Piaggio MP3 is classed as a 'tricycle' and requires a car license to ride it. Also, we generally define a 'scooter' as a powered two-wheel vehicle with feet-forward seating and a Continuously Variable Transmission rather than a gearbox. But it's not a legally recognised term; scooters are legally motorcycles here; I have the same SYM model that Pierre rides in the video, and it is classed as a 'light motorcycle' by the government licencing agency.

When Americans live and work abroad for the majority of the year only $112K is “tax exempt” so if Logan did move to Monaco he would only save about $37K per year. The added travel is probably not worth the savings to him. Only way around it would be to try and renounce his citizenship, which wouldn’t allow him to ever come back to the USA even for races.

He could come back to visit, but he would have to apply for a visa like every other alien. (He would also need a nation who would accept him as a citizen because the the US would never release him if it meant he was Stateless)

Yep. My girlfriend is a US citizen and she still has to file taxes in the US even though she lives with me in the UK. The US is one of the few countries that still taxes their citizens if they live abroad, it's crazy if you ask me!

3:20 Not quite right. It is French citizens rather than residents who will not get tax free status in Monaco. While naturally the majority of French residents would be French, if they hold for example an Algerian Passport (or any other than French) they will be granted tax free status. Though if you are employed here, social contributions, healthcare etc. would still be deducted (approx 20% of gross salary). @kym, we did call your name when you walked past the Beau Rivage but you unfortunately didn't hear us.
