Yea but he has by far the best credentials and is the most reliable source for this second-hand information. There are current high ranking military and intelligence officials that say his character and veracity are beyond reproach. The process through which he is going about disclosing this information is also lends significantly more legitimacy as he has filed a report with the Office of the Inspector General about reprisals he has suffered as a result of his disclosure to Congress and AARO, which was deemed to be ‘credible and urgent’ by the inspector general. While many of the claims are not new, nor are they as outlandish as some prior claims, the legitimacy he brings to the issue is unprecedented as is the bi-partisan Congressional efforts to unearth this info and get (at least some) to the public. Keep in mind that this is all second-hand hearsay evidence. At least what has been publicly released at this point. This issue has been so stigmatized most people offhand dismiss it (I can’t believe the lack of interest that was received whenever the Nimitz and Roosevelt UAP videos were released in ‘20), but that seems to be changing. I think (and hope) we are on the brink of a serious paradigm shift. Because if these claims are true, this will seriously throw the legitimacy of many world governments into question, and will be particularly painful for the US military industrial complex. People will likely go to jail, exclusively over materials will be lost along with billions in funding. I hope this is all true and we are experiencing a real systemic shift, because I am not optimistic about our future (the US specially but humanity in general) if we maintain our current trajectory. With that said; Ezra bring reasonable and well thought out skepticism to the topic while still encouraging the legitimacy of its exploration. This is very responsible (and increasingly rare) editorial journalism. The only agenda being pushed is an earnest search for truth through a reasonably skeptical lens given the lack of primary source data and significant implications at issue here.

Ezra's (and many other's) cardinal mistake is continually assuming that the government is monolithic; that the government knows what the government is doing. Some bureaucrat sitting at a desk approving stuff for public release definitely does not have knowledge of this program, if it exists. Such an individual or team would be operating on heuristics. If we think about NASIC as an example; which is housed in a building at Wright-Patt; even in that building, there are hundreds if not thousands of programs, and only a few individuals may be read into any one program. It's not like you get your TS/SCI and they just give you the keys to the vault. You are read into programs for which you have a direct need to know, and no more. If this program exists; I'd bet that there are fewer than 200 living people who have been briefed, let alone directly involved.

There is a huge gulf between finding objects we can't explain and don't understand and proving that aliens created them. It would be awesome if true. But as a scientist, I'll remain skeptical until reproducible proof comes forward along with peer review. I can't think of any way that looking at rows of data or photos could prove alien origin without being confirmed by independent third parties in possession of actual samples. Sometimes, we just have to say, "I don't know...yet." But I'm glad you are investigating and discussing this.
@666ydney Жыл бұрын
i agree w you. comparing data, extensive studies and tests, peer review, etc... there is so much scientific study that would have to go into this before anything can be said definitively. there are so many explanations for what this phenomenon could be, it could even be multiple different things. it'd be cool to know what's going on but i think assuming that it's all aliens from outer space is too limiting. plus there's confirmation bias and other factors that disrupt scientific study when we assume what something is before it's fully looked into.
@adurpandya2742 Жыл бұрын
Reproducible proof will never happen.
@parkerault2607 Жыл бұрын
Skeptics should be pushing for disclosure just as hard as anyone else; you can't study the phenomenon if all evidence is being suppressed. It's clear that *something* unexplainable is flying around in ways that appear impossible according to what we know about physics. There are too many credible reports and videos to reasonably think otherwise. The most important thing to do now is to determine whether or not the claims of recovered materials are true, and if so, demand that civilian scientists be allowed to research them. There's also the issue that according to these reports, private military contractors are hiding information and lying to the elected officials that they are lawfully required to report to.

I think the real problem is that there is a stigma associated with little green men to the extent that, if a potential adversary wanted to escape detection or any significant response, they could just make their unmanned craft look like flying saucers and the incident would not be passed up the chain of command or further investigated. Most of these incidents are not unexplainable by physics, but nobody has taken the time to identify possible instrumentation artifacts or natural phenomena that could cause these incidents. There are reasons not to want to disclose some of this information, but the typical method of operation is unacceptable.

Nah, Media has been irrelevant and ignored anyway since the beginning of time on this. It’s too mind boggling to understand secondhand and we are all too contaminated by the whole web of deception. Just get out there and watch the sky. Have your own experience and you won’t need anyone else’s opinion and nothing anyone says will matter. It’s a ‘have to be there’ type thing. Nice going Leslie! I gave this a "like" not because of Ezra and his podcast, but because you did such a good job of educating him. What he says at 51:02 just shows that the UAP issue is different from other secret programs. The government has been lying to us for at least 70 years (I've been studying UAP for 50 of those years). Why would they lie for so long if there weren't anything to protect. As usual, Ezra (and other mainstream media types) just needs to do more homework. Not criticism of Ezra, because he's one of many reporters who need to be brought up to speed. 👽

Interesting to hear her talk about Eric Davis. I believe he is part of the Wilson-Davis memo, a document describing the military’s covert possession of and back engineering of craft of non-human intelligence (essentially the same claims Grusch has made).

The concept that the proof hasn’t been made public because it’s classified must be really difficult to grasp. It’s as if each interviewer ignores the (given proof and testimony to congress) portion of the story. Leslie had to reiterate this fact a few times in the interview and it’s frustrating as a listener for the same question to be asked multiple times. And the psychological operation idea also makes no sense if David has already given testimony and evidence to congress. If David hadn’t spoken to congress (to which some congress members have come out and stated what he’s saying lines up with other briefings) I’d be more skeptical. It’s as if people are coming up with these BS theories to seem more intellectual than they are. You can keep an open mind without being skeptical or believing everything. Theories can sometimes be useless.

I agree about the evidence point, the shock and excitement should be about the fact he had actual evidence to give to Congress in the first place, everybody wants the evidence we're not entitled to unless the lawmakers pull their fingers out the pie and declassify this stuff and show the world, maybe people will finally take notice, also most importantly we all need to keep banging the drum

the proof of goblins hasnt been made public [because there is no proof of goblins], but there are many people that dont understand what proof is and believe that people that dont believe in goblins are hiding the evidence of goblins. then the media invite goblin believers to come on TV or the radio and tell all they know about goblins. they do not provide any evidence but they warn about goblins, and also talk about a government conspiracy to keep the truth about goblins from everyone, and the belief in goblins grows. Books are published about the goblins. A guy claims 9 goblins are held captive underground on a secret military base and another guy, a geologist, is interviewed on the Radio who confirms reports of goblins, saying the reports are true, that the goblin cover up is immense, that DOD knows all about it, but not the President of course, and adds that he fought a pitched battle with the goblins and killed a few with his gun. The public that believes in goblins regards denials of goblins as further proof of a decades long government conspiracy to hide goblins.

It is not hard at all to understand how this information can be kept secret for decades. I am a retired federal agent. I worked in the same office for years with other criminal investigators and never knew specifics of the cases they were working. And this was material mostly just “confidential” and FOUO. I was also an Army Counterintelligence Agent working with other agents conducting independent investigations classified mostly at the “Secret” level. I never knew anything at all about the investigations they were working even though I saw them everyday and socialized with them regularly. Keeping the UAP information protected over a long period of time is absolutely possible.

Or in modern terms: How come legacy media hasn't picked it up? I wish I could say I was shocked, but no. This is how they do. But more to the point, how do we transcend the legacy media and lazy thinking in general with the truth we're trying to verify and reveal?

The US is fond of secrecy. They are hegemonic power- hungry freaks, trying desperately to maintain the privilege they've enjoyed at least since WW2. Obviously, their success has gone to their brains. It clearly can, as history has shown, most only come to light via a whistleblower. I would also add that over time this topic has leaked out over the decades and the Gov have done an excellent job of muddling the waters and discrediting the person(s). They were also helped by a lack of sophistication by the public and a lack of access to others in similar situations. It's now a very different world.

While it's great to see investigations into the UAP phenomenon, I can't help but feel a sense of déjà vu. It seems that these inquiries inevitably end up in the same place: a handful of natural explanations, a slew of unexplained cases, and no real progress. We're no closer to understanding the phenomenon than we were before. Like many times in the past, I fear these programs will be abandoned once it's determined that the phenomena are seemingly harmless and not worth the investment for further investigation. We never seem to get the concrete evidence we crave - clear footage of the craft, alien bodies, or any definitive proof of what's truly going on. It's frustrating that, despite the decades of people coming forward with their accounts and demanding evidence and explanations, we seem to be perpetually left in the dark. It often feels like we're given the proverbial "nothing to see here, move along" treatment. I fear that we may never get the answers we seek.

I have known for decades, through experience and research, that there is other intelligent life here in our world and that they are here for their own purposes, just as the resource explores of old were. My education on the topic was hugely expanded and deepened by a set of books called The Allies of Humanity. They reveal why alien races are here, what it means for humanity, and what we can do as the "native" race to save our freedom and sovereignty. Highly recommended!
