I got two Hunter Mariner from a curb. One of them worked perfectly, and the other one wouldn't run, and then the motor sparked inside. Contacted Hunter and they let me pick certain new fans including some Casablanca and I picked Casablanca Aris, and they sent me it and I sent that Mariner back to Hunter.

This one spinning backwards already has a bad capacitor and both have been up only 6 months

@@CeilingFanVideosOnYT no, I tried it on the other fan and it did then same thing, I’ve decided that I’m gonna get an entire new switch cap, that’s something I’ll be able to do and it would make the most sense to replace the whole switch cup

@@BRISTOLFORCE2009 Yeah then either bad 2-wire capacitor or bad reverse pull chain.

@@CeilingFanVideosOnYT the one with the bad cap is from 2021 and the other one is from 2022, these are v2 mariners

UPDATE: I’ve come to the conclusion that this fan has a bad cap after I’ve seen it’s been spinning slower than the other one since a while after this video was posted
