Sadly, North Korean children are SEVERELY LACKING even the most basic of human rights and freedoms. Even though I'm extremely thankful that I DON'T live in North Korea, I still feel sorry for the innocent, overly restricted, and downright lowly children of North Korea. The North Korean government has more power and control over their lives than you can imagine. This cartoon completely brainwashes them into believing the propaganda that "all Westerners are evil". This kind of reminded me of a children's cartoon series I grew up watching in the UK during the 1990s. It was called 'The Animals of Farthing Wood'. If you haven't done a review of this before you really should. It wasn't really propaganda but the animals were regularly killing each other. It was kind of 'Tales of the Riverbank' meets 'Game of Thrones'. Highly recommended!

I think it would be interesting if we had a cartoon like this in the states. Probably change the animals around, and tone down the violence to the same found in Beast Wars or something like that (only example I could think of). It would be a neat way to teach history through symbolism, but it would have to be done WITHOUT propaganda. I think kids would like that, and you could maybe find it on Boomerang or something. Russians: Bears Americans: Eagles And so on and so forth. It's an okay idea, but North Korea effectively weaponized it. It could also be a tool for education. God knows the schools aren't teaching it that well anymore.
