A quick note to Vanessa: there's no compelling evidence that committing more 'wealth' to schools increases student performance if 'wealth' is simply money; if OTOH 'wealth' is a well structured learning environment, student reward systems, and talented, compelling instructors, then we agree. Those studies dont distinguish between private wealth transfers and government coerced wealth transfers. One takes from the same pool the other is independent collaboration. But in general I agree money isnt the primary issue its really what the pedagogy is.
