She needs child therapy. Sounds strange but it’s what she would need in order to grow up with a good mental health. While her mom’s side can give her lots of love and support, they’ll need to get the dad’s side to pitch in too for her therapy costs or the dad’s side can even set her up with a therapist themselves. I’m sure they all love their granddaughter/niece and have nothing to do with the murder of her mom.

Shes obviously very intelligent, want to help the police and is very articulate in doing so. I think the poor kid is emotionally numb, but her logical brain is still working. I hope to God she has strong support & love when those emotions kick in. And if they dont but remain surpressed, i fear for her future.

She clearly doesn't understand the gravity of it or it just hasn't sunk in yet. I hope she is able to grow up happy with new guardians who love her and will do everything they can to make her forget what happend but never forget the love her mother had for her.

The things to do when breaking up or split up with a control or insecure man is to skip town. In several first domestic violent offenses, at least get a R.O. in place even after several kissing makeup’s. Skip town and take the kids with her but don’t ever threaten a dad you would do this (deal with custodial issues later). What these losers need is time to cool off and clear their heads. Weeks or months even. Any violent or calculated evil man is capable of murdering his wife/girlfriend especially when jealousy or an affair is involved. * spelling

I don't know how to get the rest of the story, but so far this is ridiculous. So a 7-year-old says the killer's eyes are like Daddy's. (Who believes that she walked up close to him and studied his facial features?) Setting that aside, she might have meant that they were bluish or grayish, not dark brown. She might have noticed they are rather narrow, with a slight down-dip. In a country town where the same families have been farming for years, many people in the area might have similar ethnicity and similar features. The father might have had a pathological brother or cousin with those eyes. Lord save us from small-town policing!

I know this may sound a bit strange, but I'd be suspicious of any spouse who calls the cops to say their wife/husband is dead but they have no blood on their clothes. Surely the first thing you do would be to try and help, which will get blood all over you. Even if they're beyond help most people would still touch their loved one upon finding them like that?
