The instrument at the last part of this video that looks like an octagon type style design that is used for navigation my father used to use it. It’s for drawing circles and maps during the military time they used it and he was navigator. He had one of the great lakes too he used to do surveying and stuff like that. He used to have an old box with a survey kit, and as it said, he used to survey properties and stuffand use that for things on a map that’s used for. My father was a navigator during World War II for the military and that’s where he used to use this instrument at as well.
