That’s exactly what I was thinking. A dwarf trains and studies for 100 years just to earn the right to forge with the legends of the fire plane, to have their name etched in stone and immortalized for all time, to craft arms worthy of the gods. It could also be a cool place for warforged to hail from if you aren’t in Eberron. Although they are part organic so perhaps in between the plain of fire and the plane of earth.

To my understanding, this is the case if you basically go to the heart of the plane of fire. Places like the City of Brass somewhat border the planes of earth and air. If you go to the center of the plane of fire though then yes. There is no earth, no liquid, no air, just pure thermal energy. This is also the case for the other planes and their respective enviroments.

The elemental planes are connected to the material plane by the ethereal. I think? And the outer planes where the gods usually reside are connected by the astral. So, gods in both the inner and outer planes are the same technical distance to the material plane. I thiiiink if there are gods on the shadowfell or feywild then those might be connected directly and technically be stronger on the material plane? I think?

9:10 dragons, with elemental energy being so closely tied with their biology, should be empowered in the inner planes of their related elements. Up their fly speed/maneuverability, increase their burrow or swim speeds. Give them temp hp, or something. I imagine they wouldn't want to stay too long on these planes because their lairs, treasure, and favorite foods all exist on the material plane and are difficult to find in the inner planes, but there's no reason why an ancient red dragon wouldn't go th the plane of fire for a spa day

Call the space from 1 to 5 "Elemental Water" and from 6 to 11, call it "Elemental Air". There are infinite fractions between 1 and 5, and infinite fracions between 6 and 11, so the Elemental Planes of Air and of Water are both infinite in 'locations'. However, there are also infinite numbers between 5 and 6. Just because 5 is closer to 6 than 6 is to 11, doesn;t mean there aren't infinite locations between the two.

I'm really happy this elemental plane came first, as it's the one I knew least about. Seems like a place an armour/weapon artisan would want to have some sort of connection to.

I'm working on a homebrew that's centred on the elements, kind of inspired by high rollers and avatar the last air bender! This video actually gave me so many ideas that i might just rewrite quite a bit of it, but it will be so much better so thank you!

based on the recent videos and my own research, I've found that Planescape in general is rather brutal. Most of the demiplanes and phenomena in the Deep Ethereal are harmful in one way or another, and the plane of fire can straight up kill you if you don't have immunity (although that kind of gets a pass). Probably just a reflection of the edition Plane of Air is my favorite inner plane (unless one of these videos make another one cooler)

MrRhexx, just a small advice, how to pronounce 'Kossuth' proparly: the 's' is pronounce exactly like the 'sh' in the word 'shadow'. And the 'u' is pronounced as people say the 'u' in the word 'out'. Otherwise, I really enjoy your videos! Good luck for the next ones too!
