The spirit of Earth is alive. Alive in everything on Earth. You and I and everything you have ever touched, looked at, smelled, and heard are part of Earth. All are the Earth. We are the Earth. The atoms that make up the Earth are rearranged to make a seed that collects more of the Earth and rearranges those atoms to make a tree or a flower. And atoms of the Earth are rearranged in a special way to make you and I and everyone else that has ever lived and ever will.

Because leftists have completely destroyed science with lies, greed and politics. Nobody in their right mind wastes their time because they know exactly what to expect and they`re repulsed by the absolute dishonesty and delusion we`re bombarded with. Years from now when we all look back and remember all these people who tried to warn us, we'll remember them as the last canaries in the coal mine. The apocalypse is inevitable, no matter how many of us want to stop it, it's literally impossible. We've gone too far now to turn back, all we can do is say our goodbyes and be ready to survive the end times. The planet will change drastically, and many won't make it. We will have to carry the weight of being responsible for the death of so many species when the time comes. Earth will continue on with or without us, no matter what the planet will be fine in the end. We might go extinct, but the planet will always be here long after we're all gone. I wish things could've been different, but then again... fate is fate, there was never any other way. We all live and consume until there's nothing left, and then we die, that is nature's design. It was always our fate to go extinct eventually in this way. Thank you lord for our time on this Earth, and forgive us for all our mistakes.

You could be right. When I saw the Mouse Utopia scientific papers it made me realize that when you take mammals species and put them in a Utopia box, their civilizations will collapse and they will all eat each other. But what cause the behavioral sink? Well if you ask me, my guess is you have to identify and control the crazy alpha mice for the civilizations to survive. Those crazy alpha mice were in fact desired and essential for survival in the wilderness before Utopia Box. But we need to adapt and they can't. It's a hard comparison to make but let me try. Today I just learned that the USA military is paying 90 000$ for a little bag big like a fist of platinum bushing worth in fact 200$. Well some crazy mice are responsible for that and they are getting rich and power over it. What I'm saying is we must know who is not caring about the people and remove them from power positions and civilizations still have a chance as if you remove the crazy dominant mice the Mouse Utopia would not collapse in cannibalism.

["We might go extinct."] We? As in humans? Why do you think humans would go extinct in your opinion. These will be challenging times and I can easily see the couch potatoes and folks in the path of storms, and those with too few life skills or adaptability...dying out. And 80% of species dying out, yeah. But the whole human species?

We have a superiority complex as a species. We think we are at the top of the evolutionary hierarchy and we believe we are "intelligent" but really we are not so much! We can be barbaric, war mongering, selfish and greedy. We have not learnt how to conquer our own nature. It is a waste and a tragedy really, that we will most likely destroy each other before we could ever evolve past our destructive human tendencies. However, the Earth and all the animals and plants would thrive more than ever before without us. We must work together as one to heal our social and economic divisions. ✌️ ❤

This documentary is absolutely brilliant! Whenever i open google maps, i zoom out to see the arial views of our neighborhoods and cities. And we are gross! We colonize, like bacteria, roaches, and ants-- infiltrating spaces and depleting the resources while we breed and breed. We trash placed and then we leave them for someone else to deal with. I cry every freaking time i see how weve allowed ourselves to become parastic to our own environment. Living with purpose is only possible if we are willing to make sacrifices. Selflessness is the only possible way to evolve our collective. What am i willing to live without in order for another human being to not be without. If humanity can work together and live in our environment without destroying it or each other-- then our flexible, resourceful, intelligent, and determined collective could very well help other lifeforms on other planets.

I am thinking you are quite young. We can't stop thinking about ourselves, that would be odd. But we can learn to include others, we can develop empathy, we can practice being more aware, kind and thoughtful. Selfishness is inherent in humans, and can have purpose, just like all of our emotional states. But we will probably always want prosperity and wealth because we see that as insuring our own survival. That is normal. So make your prayers worthwhile by asking only that you seek to follow God's will as opposed to following your own ego. You can often gain so much goodness that way. ✨✨✨

I've spent most of my life trying to save people from themselves and have had very little success 😢. Whether that's my inability to find the right words to move them or their inability to be be moved I'm not sure, possibly it's a bit of both. As one of the talking heads pointed out, never has a glass unbroken itself, and never will it, so if you're thinking that we'll find a way to put all the carbon we've released from the earth back where it came from, you'll be waiting till the end of time. It's out and it can't be undone. So even if we do find an effective sustainable energy source to replace fossil fuels tomorrow, it won't undo the damage we've already created, it's too late for that. Fact is humans are the problem, and as harsh as it sounds, the only way we'll fix this problem is to drastically cut our numbers, if we don't, we're all going down with the ship and all our evolution will have been for naught. I'm not talking about mass murder to fix the numbers, I'm talking about not having anymore children for 30 years or so. Yes I realise this will have serious consequences for markets, and jobs, but not when you compare it to what happens if we continue down the road we're on.

"A Growing number of people see climate change as an example of the tragedy of the commons: the ‘over-grazing’ of collectively owned open lands by an unstructured group of people. The logic of individual self-interest will lead each and every individual to try to steal a march on the rest of the group before the rest over-exploit those open lands. In other words, individuals in a free market cannot be trusted to refrain from over-grazing common lands. The Earth’s atmosphere is the commons of the future."

I'm near that age group and drive a modest vehcile and try to conserve fuel, and grow my own food. It amazes me that on the internet there are hundreds of videos of people that think they need a 1000 horsepower in a car, or have never grown their own food, or can hold a good conversation on sustainability. It seems a lot of people say what the hell, might as well spend and use it all instead of trying to solve our problems such as reduced consumption by reduced population growth and becoming a more agrarian society to eat and consume local, and build more efficient homes. Less wastefull and reduced government. Stay fit and have less need for pharmacy and health issues. Many possibilities.

Since time immemorial we have thought many things about ourselves, about nature and our relationship with it. It can provide us with the comfort of certainty, the accumulated wealth, the pride of having what appears to be great power, and the profound fear at the immeasurable forces of phenomena that we can describe but never truly control. Every human being is mortal and this means that our extinction is a possibility programmed by the nature of the planet, by the forces that govern the solar system and by a universe much vaster and more dangerous than any being can conceive. It is necessary to accept and embrace the journey of life and not fear the inevitable. Death is always certain. And the extinction of our species will occur one way or another. Suffering because of this is foolish.

@1:02:40 You may still think that Earth is the center of the universe, but oh boy, that makes all calculations extremely hard... And yea, physics tells you all points in the universe are the centers where big bang begins this universe... So centre of the universe is everywhere, even in the tip of your nose. But yea, making real calculations it is most valuable to pick large enough things like stars or massive black holes or galaxy clusters as your center piece. And this all leads to conclusion: You may choose any point as a center or you may not have any center at all.

@59:50 When we see a catastrophy we are already past the point of prevention. We are not going to change that point. But we see also that point as reference what is coming for us. And that point is somewhat still preventable. And in most times we want some help in that point, so we help those who are in the need of help. This has been lately disrupted in many cases. Ie. Pakistan was hitted a extreme flooding that covered roughly third of its surface. No international help came. We have entered time where helping others is not always there. And the problem is: we have entered a time where catastrophies are too common. Over 50 billion dollar catastrophies a year. The help is not coming anymore. And that can be seen in politics too. No real help for Haiti. Medical systems are taken down in many countries. Insurances are not covering huge losses or not even given to the people who needs them most. I asked a decade ago when will first climate refugees be shot at the border? But then I realized, it has happened already a long time ago. We have seen right wing uprising that has clear message: "we are not going to help you, we care only about myself". This current path is toward extinction. We just have to change its direction as soon as possible. Change these things: Comsume far less that you do today. Stop burning any fossil fuels. Change your energy usage to solar and wind with some storing capasity. Start caring about other people. Think about your daily life and your job. Are they worth doing and can you alter the way they are?

"We consume and consume" without awareness or a real sense of what that means. I see especially a genre people who don't register that resources are dwindling , water drips and runs, TV and lights on all night while they are asleep, drive two blocks to the store as just a couple examples that pop to mind. Often this genre has government paying for their bills, so they don't perceive any cost for the wasting of these precious resources. I would like to see electricity, water, natural gas given in monthly allotments. A reasonable amount for the household, but if you waste it and use it up before the months end....oops. Eventually I could see it being that way for everyone, but something needs to wake us up about wasting our water, gas, electricity. Acting like it all just flows endlessly and we don't have to pay attention is ludicrous .
