I just started watching Pile 2 and I'm already crying. He is still pushing me away. He is a scared little boy who's in a lot of pain inside. He has lost both of his parents in the last few years and he is so broken. He keeps going back to a partner that treats him like dirt and doesn't truly see him. He told me a few days ago that I have so much insight into him, sometimes even more than he thinks he does himself , and that sometimes it scares him. It's likely not her fault but a conditioned response. However, he did make the decision to walk away from her, at least for now. I've known her since I was a kid. She is a narcissist. He is an empath. It's a horrible paradigm. At the end of the day though, we accept the love that we feel that we deserve. We also need to understand that it's what we allow. Pile 3 was so true and I was yelling THEN ACT LIKE IT about my person, they are involved with a 3rd party and have been for a while now which messed up everything in the connection and I found out about it through Twitter of all places.
