I run 19-20 psi in the rear and 14 up front on my plus tire. If I’m out in your area I go to 23psi rear. I weigh 190. Usually I take a little off when I get to the top. With lower psi I give it the old squeeze test😁

@@mikej1348 my friends that ride faster than me, most of them on full squishy rigs and they plow through rocks and bad lines with conviction. They keep 25psi with double wall casing tires. I have torn sidewalls and bent many rims trying to stay with their lines. CushCore has helped but it’s not a “free pass”

@ I have done it too. It’s a “fools errand” to try to keep up with full suspension. I have gotten hurt and bend a wheel doing that.

@ just out of curiosity. Why are you running the Cushcore in the front? Is it for weight balance with the rear? I had it on the rear of my plus bike and the balance was off and it felt like I put lead in the tire. If I get back into using inserts I want to try a newer lighter offerings in the market.

@ I didn’t run CC in front in the beginning but started running it in front when I got a slow leak in my front tire and wished I could keep going. It also protects my rims.I also like the way they allow me to run lower air pressure for sandy trails. I guess it just boils down to an extra layer of security. Flatting a front tire on a real fast steep descent is a disaster and I have done this once and will never forget how hard I rag dolled. *This was before CushCore was invented
