You don't need to be a Muslim to benefit from this man's lectures. His lectures are full of wisdom and common sense. Despite your religion, if you aren't biased, then there's nothing to object about from his teachings. I'm really grateful to be amongst this generation that I don't have to be in a classroom with groups of people to learn valuable things. I have learnt a lot from the internet more than I've learned in classrooms. Alhamdulillah

Alhumdullah As a new Muslim, I have struggled with the question of getting forgiveness. I speak the words but they feel hollow. This lecture has given me the guidance and a practice that I am confident will help me over this most frustrating hurdle. I pray for more blessings on Nouman Ali Khan.
@readlisten72985 жыл бұрын
not only you. Even born muslim (inkl. myself ) often say words to praise or ask forgiveness to Allah, but the words feel hollow. I know my first mistake is because of the speed. How can we feel really grateful or remorse when we say the words so quickly. My second mistake is because of my concentration. I often think of something else as I say the zikr. May Allah gives us Forgiveness, Sabr (patience) and opens up path to all our hurdle.

They are really happy with the support they get. They have a really nice community too. Seeing your comment I thought they can be of good use for you as well if you need any information or resources. If you want to know what is the prerequisite to go to heaven and not to hell, here is the answer: John14v6: Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you want to know if the Lord Jesus is God, here it is, plain like black on white. John 14v9: Jesus replied, “Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? No man who ever lived or lives on this earth can say such a thing except Jesus alone because He is God. Some will challenge this saying "Oh Jesus said: 18“Why do you call Me good?” “No one is good except God alone." (Mark 10v18). Well in fact what the Lord Jesus is doing here, he is addressing to the Jews by just playing on words. He is telling them you call me good but you do not believe that I am God (remember they stoned him for saying He is the Son of God). Yet you call me good, however no one is good except God. So here he is clearly confronting the jews about their belief of who He is. He is God because only God is good. And if you are not convinced yet, then read John 11v25. John 11v25: Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies. 26And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” Only God alone is life and can give life to someone. So Jesus is Lord and God. No wonder Thomas said in John 20v28 “My Lord and my God!” And our Lord Jesus did not rebuke him, instead Jesus said "Now you believe?” (I am paraphrasing) Read it for yourself in John 20v27-29 27Then Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and look at My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.” 28Thomas replied, “My Lord and my God!” 29Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” … So my friend STOP doubting. Just believe. He is our Saviour and Lord. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Praise be to his name. God bless you and may our Lord Jesus open the eyes of your mind.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said "The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is: 'Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana `Abduka, wa ana `ala `ahdika wa wa`dika mastata`tu, A`udhu bika min Sharri ma sana`tu, abu'u Laka bini`matika `alaiya, wa abu'u laka bidhanbi faghfir lee fa innahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta." The Prophet (ﷺ) added. "If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise."

Absolute truth.. becoming willing to be transparent before Allah has become the most powerful tool cuz seeing his answers almost immediately sometimes often naturally and with this teaching I'm understanding why he answers me so quickly just because I don't like holding onto my sin I want to purchase it before him so he can take it away because I've had so much in my life I don't want it anymore and now I understand what's the difference between me and the other people that are praying I know and saw them in my soul the ultimate Holiness and righteousness of Allah and I know that when I purge my soul before him it brings him Joy and he wants to give me what I'm seeking I ask Allah to make it easy for me because my pride was a mask to cover my pain

He makes you feel like at you’re lowest of lows allah still holds so many doors open to accept you we just don’t hear it beautifully put like brother nouman explains it. Anyone else could have said it but his choice of words and how accurate he describes how we feel after we sin and informing us that it’s allahs test everyone gets unique challenges we can’t just dwell in sadness we should have more trust and faith in our lords greatness and how he can easily lift a difficulty from us until we forget we ever went thru that

Sister, Im really sad about that. I dont know much about this. On top of that seek Allah(swt)'s Help. For me when i feel depressed, either i recite Quran slowly for more than 20 mnts or watch beautiful recitation on youtube. Will pray for you, stay strong. Assalamu Alaikum. I have a slight idea of what you are going through because I've seen a very close friend go through this for some years. There are 3 things I can advise which were very powerful in helping my friend overcome it. #1: The very first thing is of course dua Try dua during tahajjut prayer (very powerful). #2 I strongly advise finding a good therapist/counselor. This has been very helpful for my friend, much more then medications. In fact, he and his therapist are now working towards getting off the meds because he is no longer needing it. #3 start a workout/exercise routine daily. Good exercise is one of the first natural remedies for depression. Do it regularly, joining a gym is best. Diet is also important. Stop taking caffeine. It's not good for depression. Also eating healthier, less sugar and less fat helps the mind. All these things have helped my friend. Remember, this is dunya. It's a place for test. Soon all of us will be in the grave and it will be over. Try to think about the next life. I understand this is all easier said then done, but you must try it. May Allah give you shifa.

Maashaa Allaah... this khutbah, this reminder REALLY makes me into tears! 😭😭😭 Barakallah fiik ustadh, jazakallah khayr! ***** What to ask Allah: As the first and foremost: FORGIVENESS (a dua for all occassions). A story of Nuh alaihissalam, Nuh keep inviting his people: >> "Istighfaruu rabbakum, innahuu kaana ghaffara" (Seek forgiveness of your Master, He keeps on forgiving over, and over, and over again). >> "Yursilissama'a 'alaikum midroro" (If you seek His forgiveness, then Allah will open up the sky for you, and it will start pouring on you). >> Pouring means: all solutions come from the sky. The way of seeking forgiveness: >> By tounge (artificially): "Astghfirullah, astaghfirullah, astaghfirullah" >> By heart: Have Expectation, and don't be hopeless. Have a real conversation with Allah. Be honest without any border. The greatest gift from Allah: FORGIVENESS. So don't give up on Dua.

What i get after hearing this 😢that if sincerely pray to Allah almighty to forgive us then doors are open for us and new journey begins 😊 and forgive us means that we as humans tried not to repeat our mistakes then eventually we on a path that full of rocks but after every step we seek forgiveness to we move forward
