MashaAllah this lecture is very relatable for me😭😭 I've been struggling to get a job since I graduated months ago. At first I was still full-spirited even when I failed selection tests and interviews. But as time goes by I began to feel depressed, negative and hating myself because of it. I study less and less & feel down when I fail and this horrible cycle just won't stop. I always pray to Allah to give me the best career at the best time He has for me. I guess the right time hasn't come, since I'm still struggling for it. I'm grateful tho that I have my parents supporting me. Please make dua for me so I can get the best career that Allah chooses for me...

Subhan Allah, another powerful khutbah from Brother Nouman. I can clearly understand his point in disseminating the Quran, and he's right. Your truly a blessing to the ummah brother Nouman. I've personally realized myself a couple years ago, that this world is nothing more than mutual boasting amongst friends and relatives of some people in this world, rivalry amongst children, and gathering worldly temporary possesions. I always try to fight satan out of my life, and remember Allah much in whatever condition my iman is. Allah clearly states that the life of this world is nothing more than play and amusement and that the life of the Hereafter is much more pleasant, longer and ever lasting. Gratitude is definitely a big key in my life, and I find this awkward twisted question of people asking....."where do you see yourself in the future or your future, or 10 years from now." I would answer I don't know, I might not be alive tomorrow or so and so. So Allah knows best our destinies and future and in Him we put our trust, amen.
