Answered a lot of my questions about the pay per lead model. When I did the Facebook ads course, they recommended not to do pay per lead because people had got ripped off. But, yes, if you've built the relationship with your client that shouldn't be a problem. And if he tells you he closes no deals, you won't continue cos you're not making dosh and he won't get the leads.

Exactly. There's a risk element to it, but it can be extremely lucrative.

Hey Dan would you be able to go over, how you track the leads of your clients? And When do you charge them?
@Flexxable5 ай бұрын
We would ususally charge up front for a batch of leads. So for example we'd charge $50 a lead and sell a 100 lead package to the client. So they'd pay us $5000 then we'd go and draw down on the 100 leads.

@5.40 I made that exact mistake. Sent client every lead. The good ones were great but the bad ones were so bad client got upset. Next time i will filter them first

Thanks Dan. So with the hybrid deal, if you only get paid if your client actually closes a sale, how do you track if they are honest with you? Do you ask for access to their CRM or something? Or is the point not to make much $ off these deals and rather just get your CPL/quality dialed in without spending your own money?

You trust your client

And you also use it to dial in your offer

@@kaneworthington Thanks mate, those are some unfortunate experiences. The model Dan proposes actually has the client front the ad spend so losing money should not be a problem. But I'm worried about dishonesty/under-reporting of closed deals and basically working for free because they are lying but I guess there is no way around that. At least should be able to gather valuable experience and figure out how to generate quality leads at a low CPL for the next client that will get charged purely on PPL then.

I'd get access to their CRM. You will have clear visibility of which leads close, and most CRMs can allow you just to see your leads so client shouldn't have a problem with that.

Thanks for making this. How about 2025 as the paymper lead laws change can't sell to multiple?
@Flexxable24 күн бұрын
Glad you liked it mate! Honestly, we don't like to sell to multiple clients when doing PPL Lead Gen. Clients will pay more to be exclusive (and you'll create stronger relationships) and have full ownership of the leads
