@@GoatDust just because you don't understand how language works doesn't mean the rest of us are as dumb as you. if you took 2 seconds to use google you'd have seen another definition of "layperson" that means "a person without professional or specialized knowledge in a particular subject" not necessarily referring to the church in anyway--which anyone not trying to act cool on the internet would know. In this video, Michael Brown has the specialist knowledge and I don't. Therefore, I'm a layperson when it comes to understanding hardware installation compared to the OP. Luckily I already had 98,000 woke social credit points before you erroneously deducted 1000 even though you're wrong and don't understand language etymology, so i guess i'll have to live with my 97,000 woke points.

The way you explained it is EXACTLY from the novice's perspective and NOT from another tech expert's perspective. THANK YOU FOR DOING THAT!!! Of course, you know why you do it this way, but many other content creators overlook that perspective and expect idiots like myself to be able to follow their unexplained 'clicks' and 'navigations' through the process. You explained CRITICAL additional information that people like me need to know and I absolutely loved the way you explained everything here. Again, thanks a lot for doing that because someone who is explaining something absolutely needs to cover every single stupid step. The method of actually saying our questions with a follow up of the answer is very helpful. Why is that? Well because you're showing us that you understand what we're struggling with and holding our hand through our struggle; You explain 'A' process, then we say 'hang on, I'm not seeing that on my end!' and you SAY THAT before continuing and then go on to explain EVERYTHING. That is how you do it Ladies and Gentlemen!

For those who tried doing this but no pop up window occurred when you clicked on disk management. Restart the computer properly again. I did that and it worked for me. Big shoutout to this guy for making this work!

This helped me so much! Thank you! I want to add that when I first installed it, it didn't show up at all when I went to Computer Management. But I restarted my computer and it did an automatic update and appeared after the update under the computer/disk management. Then I followed your steps in the video and it worked perfectly!

Thanks mate, just installed a 2.5 SATA (already had an m2 running) and had no idea why it wasn't showing up. I was lucky enough that my SATA port wasn't disabled by the m2, so that made things easier. Anyways, appreciate it!
