Are there any exceptional circumstances in which a man who is in love with a woman (or at least likes her very much) would break up with her, ghost her or sabotage the relationship until she dumps him (assuming the woman is generally or most of the time HV)? I am asking this question because, unless there are exceptional circumstances, why would anyone want to go back with an ex who was not in love with you anyway?
