Some similar incident happened with me few months back, A wagonR (with front bullbar) driver rear ended my car (he was going 50+) and my car was in very severe condition. When asked for compensation, he said that his car also got damaged (only a bit of his headlight was chipped off. Then I contacted local policemen and they said ki aisi choti moti takkar hote rehti hai. The car owner had a advocate sticker in the back window, maybe that's why they were this much biased towards him. Na chahte huye bhi mujhe claim lena pada, and my car's value got depreciated by a huge margin. I was planning to sell of my car in next 2-3 months now everything is shattered. People like these don't fear the judiciary

Bro fearlessly knock the doors of court. No matter what happens if it is not your fault then don’t lean back because if people like these get away easily they make this a habit. Next time don’t let them go easily and make them suffer bro if it was not your fault and what I believe is bro that let it be if they get away easily from that incident then someday karma will hit them in a very wrong way. People should fear this bro.

@@Slaviaguy I get what you mean by this comment but at that time seeing the cop immediately getting biased towards him stopped me right then and there. For sure I would've gone to the court if scenario was different but at that time I refrained just because of that current situation. Also the judiciary is very lathargic in terms of road accidents unless it's death. But I'd keep this in mind from now on

Brother the first thing to do is contact your nearest police station and tell them to lodge FIR and add section hit & run as well and tell them to make that car stop in the nearest police station after that.

No bro there are two split lights the main one costs around Rs 15,500 and the small one in trunk costs Rs 3400

So it was around 6 k for the full setup . I think they just sharing a over priced data for no reason as its also not a fixed bill
