I made an account years ago. I still use the same gmail I used for that account. Unfortunately, my current iphone and phone number is now different. I wanted to reset the password since I’ve forgotten it. But it requested for my old phone number that was bound to it (I’ve changed phone numbers multiple times and no one has my old number anymore). The frustration has kept me awake for days. I hoped there was a way to just give a code to my email than can help me reset the password rather than asking for my old number.

I have been trying to reset my password for 3 days now and it just won't work. I never forgot my password, it just stopped being accepted and might have mistyped something when i tried to enter a new password and now it's just not happening. It's ridiculous that Apple doesn't show what you have typed when trying to use or reset a password, so you don't know you've done something wrong until you're locked out and in password hell!

Hello Apple, this is Sai from India. I have a question. Can anyone tell if my password is created by an iPhone and Passwords app? That is a very strong password and we cannot just remember it for suppose if we set that password to Apple account and if our device is lost, if you have only one iPhone, and if two factor authentication is turned on, can we still sign into find my device and locate the device?

This is not helpful because at the point that you try to go into your account the iPhone asks you to give your iCloud password....
