There is an option in iOS called "Erase Data" under "Face ID & Passcode". It is meant to erase the phone after 10 failed passcode attempts. But it doesn't work.

It's normal for it to be very hot sometimes, especially after a software update, transferring data, or charging when your phone is low. But if it's just normal use and it's overheating, maybe take it to Apple

Don’t use your brightness at 100% and tune off background app refresh, and if you’re using apps that use camera, it is normal (Snapchat for example)
