My cat goes to the vet when he needs to and recently I took him everyday for more than a week to get his wound dressed and dressing changed after he was attacked by another cat and had surgery to remove pus from his abscess. But I do realise there are those who can’t bring their cat to the vet and I disagree with you because their cat is better off than being a stray. If only those who can afford to or are able to go to the Vet should have cats then are you suggesting that cats in places where it’s hard to get access to a Vet remain as strays? Are they better off that way?

@@lilcupc4k3s don’t give up. Try to figure what the problem is and try to feed her by spoon or syringe liquid at least. Many cats who go through this do recover and start eating again unless it’s a serious problem then if you can, go to the Vet

I noticed my cat was barely eating for about a week and a half to two weeks. She had also lost about two pounds. I took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with stage 3 CKD (Cat Kidney Disease). The last two weeks have been stressing. I've been buying every homeopathic "snake oil" on the market. She wouldn't take to Astro's Oil because it is such a concentrated fish oil. However she has taken to the kidney treatment juice from Pet Wellbeing, so that is a positive. The last couple of days have been very good as her litter bin schedule is about back to normal (2 pees 1 poop a day), also her behavior seems back to normal. Fingers crossed this stuff can help to extend my baby's life span.

Hello , yesterday my cat was also got attacked by two dogs. We always keep her indore,by somehow she sneaked outside nd two dogs attacked her. They were taking her but I saved her. No external injury. She is lying down only,it's paining inside her stomach. Something is going on inside her stomach. There are no vets here,I live in small town. What to do,she didn't ate any food from yesterday. She walked little bit on bed slowly. I have been sitting next to her from past 24hrs. I continusly petting her. She is my life,she always sleeps in my arms and wakes me at 6am, we play everyday,she runs behind me and I run behind her. We even watch movies together, she listens to me when I talk to her. She loves me so much nd I love her the most. I can't stop crying, please pray for her that she heels.

@Kaname AMVs 玖蘭 枢 we r all going through worst stressful time of our life. Our baby is suffering & we r almost helpless. Vets r always contradictory or diplomatic. We have to listen to our gutt feeling also. Try to force feed water with small 2 ml syringe. Let's see whether he can hold up water. At least he will stay hydrated in this way which is also very imp. Try to let lick him very small amt of food by applying some food on his lips. If not vomit, then open his mouth little bit and try to feed slight more quantity with your finger. This way at least some food will go in his system very slowly. Hope it helps.

I came to the conclusion that my grandparents cat 🐈 is ready to leave , he used to be fat and then just stopped eating and drinking . He would eat his favorite treats and then stopped eating that as well . Little by little lost weight and is becoming more weak . I think 🤔 it’s time , and will let it pass peacefully . Tried giving all its favorite food but it doesn’t even want that . So....here we are .....

So many good points in this video! Cats DO hide things. Weight loss is another thing easily hidden by their coats, so it is helpful to do weekly weight checks. If you don’t have a baby scale, get on a human scale holding your cat and then weigh yourself alone and subtract it to figure out your cat’s weight. I agree with logging changes! An extra calendar just for your cat is helpful. Note weights and changes, especially any time you introduce a new supplement or medication or food and when your cat vomits. Remember to introduce new food slowly. Keeping track of new foods can help you figure out if your cat has a food allergy, is sensitive to something like Carageenan or guar gum, etc. if you are trying to get your kitty to eat, try smelly foods. Think liver or fish flavors! You can warm cat food in a microwave safe container for a few seconds to unlock more aroma. You can use catnip or Fortiflora sprinkled on top of the food as you would sprinkle salt and pepper onto your food…just sprinkle a little though. A little Fortiflora goes a long way! It’s a little pricey at the pet store, but some cats go nuts for it. You can use acupressure and gently stroke the nose from where the fur starts at the base of the nose upward slowly over and over again for a slow count of twenty. There are some cat broths on the market-my cats have CKD, so I use Tiki’s with chicken warmed for a few seconds to get my cat eating again. BeechNut meat baby food does not have any onion, chives or garlic in it so it is safe for kitties. Warming it up for a few seconds to release aroma has also helped get my cat eating again. Hope this helps!

I had the same issue but that sounds more like a behavioural issues. You cat body language is different to kittens. Your older cat gets annoyed by their behaviour and scent. Make sure your older cat has there own set space. Keep them at a distance, feed them in separate sections where they can see each other but can’t fully interact. Put a tea towel, cushions or sheet covers with the scent of the cat and kitten around the house so they get used to each other scent. Have separate liter trays The kittens will need to submit in order for your older cat to not feel threatened.

Just buy the cat good quality catnip. It should solve the problem. I just got it for the first time and my many cats , get gastrophase 😁 short after. They get very hungry. The vet will find something even when there is nothing. Necessary visit if you know that your cat likes hair ties. My one does so much so that he used to eat them. I wondered where do they all go but still bought him regularly a fresh batch and every evening he would get one. Until I saw one in his toilet and in throw up too. Well I would not expect that. Fun with hair ties was over. And luckily nothing serious happened and he grew out of it. He has lots of movement, stairs to run up and down, stepsiblings to play with, always access to fresh grass which helps cats clean their stomach , helps them throw up things. But not every cat loving hair ties will be so lucky. It can be life threatening so no time to waste if the cat suddenly stops eating. Hair ties might be stuck in his digestive system. It is dangerous. If there is few cats at home one might feel not safe while eating with the rest because of life before becoming your cat. Could be that many hungry cats were very aggressive during meals and your cat as a kitten got slapped too many times so will not enjoy eating with the rest of your cats. And it's possible that this cat at the beginning will be eating with everyone, no problems, and suddenly one day will remember his past and will stop eating. Even when hungry. Just feed this kitty in separate room or even transporter maybe if no rooms available. Or in the corner away from others while you stay near and keep him feel safe. So first of all watch with understanding and get to know your cats. They have reasons to behave the way they do. Because the owner doesn't understand those reasons easy calls the cat crazy. But it is not the cat that is crazy it is the owner who is not able to understand, to connect the dots, to see the invisible, which makes him/ her...

My cat is afraid of food and barely eats. I am sure it is something mental.. she sometimes attacks the food and gets angry at the food like it is a living being.. idk what to do. Btw, she is very healthy and plays a lot and shows affection and everything. No sign of crying pain or whatsoever.

Took 3 months to get into a vet. before i say a word the receptionist wants to sell me shots - no im not here for that i say. Vet finds cat to be healthy but needs to sell me an anti-itch shot,,cha ching! Then suggests i feed it healthier food 'not the dollar store stuff'. He assumed i was just some poor ignorant cuss even though i told him i tried fresh meat fish etc...patronised me, charged me 100 bucks for 15 minutes & sent me on my way. Dont always let vets be your first choice. Cat still doesnt eat & the itch shot didnt even work...

Hello , yesterday my cat was also got attacked by two dogs. We always keep her indore,by somehow she sneaked outside nd two dogs attacked her. They were taking her but I saved her. No external injury. She is lying down only,it's paining inside her stomach. Something is going on inside her stomach. There are no vets here,I live in small town. What to do,she didn't ate any food from yesterday. She walked little bit on bed slowly. I have been sitting next to her from past 24hrs. I continusly petting her. She is my life,she always sleeps in my arms and wakes me at 6am, we play everyday,she runs behind me and I run behind her. We even watch movies together, she listens to me when I talk to her. She loves me so much nd I love her the most. I can't stop crying, please pray for her that she heels.

My cat isn't eating well and I'm kinda worried, it's kind of sad if you see her just laying into the floor, and just looking to your eyes like she's/he's saying to you "I'm happy to be with you" and then you cried in front of him/her, I don't want that to happen, I don't wanna lose my cat, I have lost one and all I did is just cry and cry in my room, this happen I was on my cat and he goes outside and im OK with him when his going somewhere, then when it was night I called my cat then it won't listen to me, I waited for hours it was 8:00pm And later I go to sleep because maybe he's sleeping somewhere, later that day, I was still waiting on the same door were he left and still nothing I couldn't find him, and I ask my auntie on the next house,and I found out that my cat is dead, maybe of an accident or maybe poisoned, and it really hurts to lost a cat, even your favorite cat, and I even lost his picture, I couldn't stop crying in that day, I was so depressed,sometimes I couldn't sleep, and that door was the only best memory of my cat, we go there and just sit and watch the skies and he even goes to my lap just to sleep and watch the skies together, even I watch TV he's always there, he's on my side, my lap, even watch TV together. I wish could have take a picture with him even one, just so I could remember him, and I always go to that door and think that he's with me and cry then watch the skies like he's watching too.

@@rathidevi3309 my cat got injured on the head, probably bitten by another cat.i took him to the vet for minor surgery as there was infection. Everyday the past week I took him to the vet to get the wound cleaned and dressed. If you can’t take him to the vet, make sure you clean the wound with saline and see if you can get any medication to apply to the wound. Have to get something suitable for cats. Don’t use human meds. About the food, try hand feeding. Put the food on your hand and let him eat or give him a little bit at a time with spoon or syringe. My cat prefers wet food when ill. If you are cooking for your cat or using wet food make it a bit wetter. Also stronger smelling foods is what my cat will eat like boiled fish with a bit of fish soup. Whatever he is eating, you may have to try a few things he likes. Am sad and angry to hear someone would be so cruel. I will pray for you and your cat. May he get well. Give him lots of attention and make sure he drinks water too.
