What to do if your customer doesn't pay your lawn care invoice

I found a great way. I bill on Mondays every Monday. The bill needs to be paid by the following Monday. If they have not paid me by Friday I send a reminder and it goes like this. This is a friendly reminder your invoice must be paid by Monday 00/00/00 to avoid any late fees and stop service at your property. If they do not pay by Monday I will add $20.00 for every week they do not pay. I only get maybe one a year its rare.

Did you charge extra for picking up limb in back yard. Just had to put a lein on a customers property last week. First time I’ve ever had to do that.
